I am finally getting around to some outstanding projects. One of which is reassembling a barrel I received in pieces. As I was piecing it together, I realized it was #special. It is a #glenfiddich #caskofdreams #barrel. Apparently there were only 11 made (only 1 in 2011). They used NEW American #whiteoak for these barrels (yes, just like #bourbon..). They then sent the barrels around to 11 American cities and encouraged people to sign them. From there they were shipped to #scotland where they were filled with #distiller selected 14-16 year old Glenfiddich #scotch. The scotch was finished in these barrels for 3 months, then bottled for a #limitededition run. From what I read, it came out very nice with especially strong #vanilla notes from the #charred white oak. -"Mary"- We had the pleasure of seeing my cousin #dance as #Mary, in #Awaited, at #Crossroads. I took several #photos throughout the performance, but they are turning out like all the other images I've been seeing from other #photographers, so I decided to go a different route. I wanted to create an #artistic interpretation, not only of an image, but it's representation of Mary. The dispersed pieces coming together in Mary, to form the #immaculateconception within, creating #Jesus, seen as shadow stemming from her womb. Within a single image, I was able to display this linear time frame. @jordan_betscher put on an incredible performance, along with all the other cast and crew.
