A work in progress -

My project is a Social Housing construct standing in opposition of Gentrification within the Roxbury community of Boston.

The housing scheme exemplifies the the Social Constructivism stimulated when inhabitants of a Community assist one another through their individual characteristics.

i.e The hard-working single mother who’s children are watched by the elderly within the complex. Who in turn are provided with company, a new social bond, and a home cooked meal. 

My aim is to provide a set of complex’s that can adapt as a community and thrive in any area, metropolitan or other, that faces the same social housing pressures. A mixing of communal staples is necessary balancing out the complex’s and strengthening social bonds. The strength derived from these communal social bonds will institute a foundation from which gentrification can be expunged in Roxbury
