Sorry about your statics assignment :(
BUT once upon a time when I was still in college I for some reason walked into a fancy furniture store, and to display their fancy bookcases they had tastefully arranged a selection of books that had clearly come from a library sale or something.
And I happened to notice that one of them was an old statics textbook, and so I glanced through it and it looked like it was actually a pretty good textbook, so I took it to the nearest salesperson.
Me: How much would you charge me for this book?
Fancy furniture store salesperson: ???
Me: I would like to buy this book.
Fancy furniture store salesperson: ??? !! ?? ? ??? ! ???
Fancy furniture store salesperson: You can... just take it. It's yours.
I think I still have that book somewhere.
