welcome aboard, JAXON SMITH, student #48. we are excited to set sail with you ! has anyone told you that you look like JONATHAN DAVISS? according to our records, you hail from PORTLAND, OREGON prefer he/his, are cis-male, and are here to study JOURNALISM. we also see you received a spot on the ss university because of your ACADEMIC SCHOLARSHIP— we won’t tell anyone. during your first few weeks here, other students said you were +AMBITIOUS, +RESPONSIBLE, but also - RIGID. it sounds like you spend most of your time at the student gallery. upon checking your luggage, we noticed you packed a JOURNAL. hopefully your roommates don’t steal it!
just a quick summary of jax before the full bio is put out:
hails from portland with his two adoptive parents ( marcie && derek ) who he has lived with since he was three years old. they have a great relationship. his mother works as an insurance agent. his father works as a seventh grade history teacher.
he is curious by nature && an investigative journalist at heart. it started when he was around thirteen when he began searching for his birth parents. he found them— it didn’t go well, so don’t ask about them. since then he has been a reporter through && through. whether it be soaring textbook prices or the mystery meat in the high school cafeteria he has the deets.
he is on an academic scholarship. he has no problem sharing that. he works hard on his studies && focuses on them a little too much for his parents liking. which is why he is studying on the ship. his parents thought it would be a more ‘fun’ college experience. while jax saw it as an opportunity to report on his travels across the globe for future publication. he writes about everything in his journal that he carries with him often. his parents could have paid for school, but he preferred using his own merit.
he is outgoing, but tends to be stay the safety of his comfort zone unless it comes to following a story, though he tends to find himself surrounded by the opposite ( hence my fc choice, if you’ve seen outer banks you will understand some of the similarities ). school comes first while everything else is pushed to the side.
i am open to any kinds of plots or connections for him. i haven’t rped on tumblr in FOREVER so pls excuse my slow pace. i am very excited for this group && jax so pls don’t be afraid to IM me!!

jaxon: her and dad are worried about me having fun. they thought if they sent me off on a cruise ship with you i would "have the college experience" or whatever cliche they're always preaching about.
