Bon appétite
Lunch at the louvre was pretty expensive but that was ok. I expected it. My day was full of eating.
Talk about fat a$$
A view from them balcony where I had ice cream
The louvre 5/13
Oh la la, I am in France.
I basically spent 3 hours there. Maybe more.
Now it's time for lunch. New post though....
exploring Paris 5/13
Today I decided to take advantage of my time... I woke up and just relaxed at elodie’s home. Until maybe 11. Once I prepare myself , I headed down stairs to the nearest bakery one chocolate croissant please. From there I booked it to the metro, just a 10 minute walk from where I was at. I took the line all the way to invallides station.
From there I crossed the bridge and walked to the louve.
I made it to a place where I ran across about 7 lanes of traffic. Lol
Just to take a pic of this. Then this
Next I took a right and headed to the national gardens, at least I think it is.
Not the best quality pics but they will do. I am basically at the Louve.
Here I am.
dinner with the frenchies
Wrapped up a few pages and headed towards the meeting spot with elodie. It was nice to see a friend again.
Not saying at I haven't seen them. First Frenchman that I have seen since Sunderland.
From our meetings point we went toon a side street made up of restaurants and banks. A few shops, to have dinner. We stopped and I saw something done joy able I was pretty excited. Do you see it ins hen I turn a overs. They a poke like dish. (Ahi, radish, on avocado.) win!
I also learned that in France, or his area, it is common to have spray oil and vinegar .
All in all. Then food was good. I died and went to heaven.
Dinners tuned us, we headed home and called I it a night. buT before sleep, watched world war z with her house mates. It was in English. Thank God.
still tuesday
I landed in Charles de gull airport. Btw, it's a massive airport. I waited for my bag and headed off. I was in search of a phone SIM card. In Europe they sell SIM cards super cheap and sell inexpensive plans for Internet as well as phone services. I am only in search for an Internet plan.
I read an Internet blog that stated there was somewhere in the airport that one can buy this. So I searched for about an hour until I actually asked for help. I went to the info center of a different terminal and was basically told with the most “"I think you're dumb” face. It was next door to where I sked.
I went over to find out that the plan I want cost 35€. That expensive.
I made my way into the city via a 50 min train ride. Costing 10€ ..RER B train.
the stop I got off at was a stop where a phone company challenge Orange was located. And to my surprise, they were a third party vendor. Sold orange products but not the actuall company.
I made my way to the friendly neighborhood Starbucks and figured out a new plan with the free wifi.
I headed to one more store and then gave up. I decided to head towards the Eiffel tower and wait til 8:30 for elodie to finish work. Right now it's 6:30
All I needed was my book, and how time flew after. 2 hrs felt like two minutes. But here is the place I hungout
Paris 2.0
It is time to take off and head to Paris. The airport in Stuttgart is tiny. It took me about 2 seconds to get into the right terminal.
Something cool. I met a guy from America whose dad was from Hawaii. The reason I knew this was because of the Hawaiian print ribbon that he had tied to his luggage.
How cool is that. To see someone who has ties to Hawaii in the middle of Germany.
We parted ways and I went to my gate. Hopped on my flight and it was time for Paris
For my euro trip, this has been the nicest airlines yet. By nicest, the best looking, the best service. I even got free food and drinks.
egg contraption

You charge your phone by peddling. Brilliant
Tuesday 5/12
We only had time for breakfast before I had to leave for the airport. What a speedy morning I'd say.
Packed my stuff. And we were off to breakfast. We made our way to the same square and had a simple English breakfast. Bread again. This time a croissant. 2 x and Greek yogurt.
atfer breakfast jörg and myself grabbed my stuff from the crash pad and Wes out. From his home we traveled a bit, while doing so we passed under a tunnel. The best words from jay,
Did you know jordan that this tunnel is some famous, important something tunnel.
Bahahahhaha such knowledge.
Big shout out to jay. The Americanized German friend gangsta hipster gamer.
Just waiting for that third times the charm. Maybe Cambodia, may be Hawaii, but if anything, Germany
return of the jay
I finally mad made it to Stuttgart. We enjoyed the afternoon here in this spots. It was extremely warm we hung out, caught up and listened to music.
Then time flew by and we decided to get some food.
This place was good but the only thing that botherd me was the guy who was making the food.
Was this guy. This grumpy old man. We also not allowed to eat in this place because they had reservations. All 4-5 tables they had.
We headed back to jörg’s home. Talk about flash back. Nice to see a familiar place.
Oh how this food disappears in 5 seconds. It was basically absorbed through my skin by touch.
Dinner was good..
The sun was still out and we headed took one of the city plazas and just soaked in the sun and chatted more.
While sitting on these steps, I've noticed that there were people drinking and enjoying their night, and old men just hovering. I thought it was weird until I noticed they were just waiting around for an empty bottle to arise.
They are around because one bottle is 25cents
Talk about bank. They just sit and wait around all day.
Went home, called it a night.
By calling it a night, I mean video games and blogging
Video from Heineken factory
offenburg we go
I said farewell to the friends and was off.
If you have traveled with me, you will know that I Am pretty well versed in the act of navigating. But it is only in the solo traveling that I get messed up and basically mess up. I trained from offenberg with a transfer in Karlsruhe ... That's where things went wrong. I thought I knew where I was going and I ran from one train to another. Then I realized it was the wrong train. From then I ran to the info center. Maybe 3 football fields. Then ran back to a platform next to where I arrived.
But wait. It's also the wrong train lol
I ran over to another train and connected to train Internet. With the only thing that workers free is the trains time table. And yes. I made it.
Stuttgart her I come
It was definitely worth the risk of maybe dropping my go pro. Enjoy
just a park 5/11
It's time to get that inner child on.
It was my last day in the southwest of Germany so what better way to celebrate then this..
I went to the non-Disney Disneyland lol
It's a placed called europa parks. This place is actually pretty big. There are about 7 different themed areas representing places of Europe, hence Europa park.
I went here with Marc and his sister Nadia .
Video of the roller coaster is up next
The video to follow is the largest roller coaster the park houses. At the end of our trip we were able to ride the roller coaster two more times with a wait of 10 mins each rather than our initial wait of 1 hr.
Over all it was a successful day, other than me losing 50€ . But life moves on.
Big shout out to the heizmann (and the other names of your family) Ohana for hosting me and sharing your home.
Not pictured but included, Martin, Nadia, Patrick, Sabrina, Oma, opa.
I don't know how well you know me, but I am 35% the one who enjoys watching other people work as you can see the family is trying to herd the cattle so I kind of jumped in.
snack before dinner.
The ram was relaxing at a littler restraunt that was in their village. (Pronounced willage with a German accent)
I was kind of up for anything then I found out anything included cows tongue. I'll pass. But I did eat blood sausage. Yum...
Once we finished, we took a drive to the top of the country side, to the look out. What a nice view. Check it out
I jumped on the ledge and the people in the tower freaked out. Like hearts stopped beating and arms chasing towards me
