its so funny how you can easily tell which mobs were added in recently and which mobs are older, even when youre a newcomer. because like:

foxes:

run from the player

creep up on prey and jumps several blocks to pounce onto them

nocturnal

bark/howl at night

rest during the day, occasionally sitting or sleeping under a tree

can carry things in its mouth and if it’s food, it will eat it

can get stuck for a moment if they pounce into snow

dolphins:

will attack the player if provoked

“play” with entities in the water

will lead you to underwater ruins if fed

swimming with one gives you a special effect

will jump around you while youre in a boat

occasionally leap out of the water, and can even jump to other bodies of water
