give me a kiss ʕ•ﻌ•ʔ
last kiss
This was it. Finley graduated college, and was moving onto bigger and better things. And there was Jayden, still trying to figure out what he wants his major to be. Jayden always knew this day was going to come, but he figured it wouldn’t be so soon. Every minute spent with him felt like a second. So Jayden made sure to slow things down for this very last dinner. He took his time getting into the car, hoping that their deep conversations wouldn’t fly on by. By the time they got to the restaurant, that Jayden picked out as a post-graduation dinner, he took his sweet time ordering and savored every bite. Once they were back into the car, Jayden didn’t seem to budge when it was time to go inside. Finley could tell something was up. Although the answer was fairly obvious, he continued to ask.
“You’re leaving, and I know you’re never going to look back. So I’m just trying...to slow things down. I don’t want this night to end.”
Jayden’s cheeks were more than flushed. It didn’t seem to matter that it was Finley. Jay found himself growing uncomfortable by sharing what he was truly thinking. Finley did was he always seemed to do: make Jayden smile. Giving up his hand, Jayden looked up at Finley’s sweet face. Despite having tried to slow down time, he found himself rushing to press his lips onto Finley’s. This was their last kiss. And it felt like a million years.
