Okay, somethings piss me off more. But it's in my top 10 most hated comics panels for sure. You can really feel Jim Starlin's absolute hatred of Jason Todd bleeding into Bruce's writing here.

Jason had gotten along quite well with the Teen Titans while helping rescue Dick from Brother Blood. And while they were mostly in space at the time, some members Jason had known weren't and would have shown for his funeral (as Jason had shown up to Titans funerals/JLA birthdays) if given a chance.

He had a whole penpal and crime fighting pal in Kid Devil, aka Eddie Bloomberg:

Did anyone else notice the hand holding Red Devils heart in New Titans #37 is Lady Blaze’s, from Reign of Hell 2008-2009?Eddie and Blaze actually met in Teen Titans #68 2009

I’m wondering if she has a slight claim to him because of him pricking his finger on her dagger?? Or maybe she got back at him because the deal fell through due to Kid Eternity’s interference? Well it’s probable she went after Eddie because Neron has an interest in him and wants to mess with Neron for it, who knows.

i think part of what i like about how new titans is portraying steph is like. my girl is so used to her plans, skills, and abilities being doubted or ignored or not trusted that she is completely unprepared for an environment where people just. trust her as their go to tactician? shes so fully blindsided by the idea that she is seen as a leader and voice of reason

but yeah, despite the other issues i have with the run so far (there are still several,brombal while you have made joneddie mildly more interesting this issue it still feels SO flat) i am enjoying the steph stuff, it feels like one of the stronger points of this run
