I have been a huge @badegg-mm  fan since entering the fandom over a year ago. I fell in love with her depiction of Saeyoung and always planned one day to have a piece commissioned from her. While chatting with a friend one night I shared the idea for this particular piece and she loved it so much that she had it commissioned for me as an early (early) Christmas present.  I am so, so in love with this piece. This is the type of relationship I envision when writing Saeyoung and MC. One full of love, laughter, and complete ease around one another. They are truly soulmates. Thank you to my friend who is so dear to me and to @badegg-mm for bringing my vision to life.

I had no intention but I’m currently dead smack in the middle of Saeyoung’s To Promise- literally in a juicy part- and I need to keep my energy and inspiration up. So quick write it is!4. Shut up and kiss me16. Why haven’t you kissed me yet?

He was doing it again. Talking and talking and rambling on about god knows what- and all she could do was stare at those plump red lips and that clever pink tongue as he spoke to her… well.. “taught” her would be the best description of what he was trying to do. MC, high school senior and front runner to become class Valedictorian, was getting tutored by her best friend, Saeyoung Choi, 2nd year college student  (accepted early, you see).And normally, she would have been all ears and super attentive to whatever it was he was talking about at any given time… but he had come in looking particularly handsome- and god did he smell good. Did he always smell this good? Why did he smell this good? She couldn’t think, she couldn’t concentrate she could barely remember to blink once in a while so she didn’t look hypnotised. This was all his fault anyways, him and his damn perfect mouth. The week before he had taken to whispering “correct” or “incorrect” to her, the tips of his lips barely grazing across the sensitive shell of her ears as he did so; shivers coursing through her body every time he did. That study session went on for five hours. She had never felt so infuriated and frustrated in her entire life. 

Until today. He was her best friend; she had never once thought him to be the kind of person she would ever want to kiss but for the last week all she could think about was her mouth on his, tongues dancing and hands weaved into each other’s hair… her legs around his waist… his mouth reaching up to her ears to whisper, “What a good student you are…” 

“Shut up.” “Say what?” Saeyoung asked, his brow furrowed with confusion as he halted mid sentence. “Shut. Up.” she repeated her eyes narrowing on him. “I’m not sure what I did wrong-”“Shut up… and kiss me,” she replied as she moved the books that were in front of him on the dining table and replaced them with herself, her feet perched on either side of him on the chair. Saeyoung stared up at her in disbelief- what had brought this on? This sudden shift in power-“MC- i don’t really think that this is-” he began only to be interrupted by MC leaning forward, mere inches from his face, eyes wild with want and passion. He guided audibly at the forwardness of his best friend, never in a million years did he think she would have had the guts to do something like this. “Why- haven’t- you- kissed- me-yet?” she articulated word for word as if she were trying to communicate to a child. Saeyoung sighed and took off his glasses, shaking his head as he wiped at the fingerprints with the hem of his shirt. Standing up he pushed back his chair and set the glasses back on the ridge of his nose, his face set in an expression of resignation. Deftly he took MC by the chin, his grip firm but not painful, a bright glint of something that MC could not place shining his eyes. He looked magnificent. “MC. Shut up. I am the tutor here so you will listen to me and you will learn.” His mouth descended upon hers quicker than she knew he could move, his kiss biting and exciting, the feeling like he wanted to devour her, ravish her, savour her… “Are we learning yet, MC?”She shook her head, her eyes still closed, world spinning madly about her. “N-No… teach me again.”

Enjoys feeding you 

When you are sitting down for dinner he will fill his fork with some of his food and bring it to your lips 

“My love, you must try this, it’s divine”

Treats you like a queen literally every day 

He ALWAYS pulls your chair out for you, holds doors open for you, holds your hand to help you out of vehicles or to move around 

Always wants you to be served first and he makes sure your wine glass is always full 

One of his FAVORITE things is when Elizabeth and you are cuddled into bed with him as he goes over paperwork or various documents for work 

Just the closeness he feels from having you all together relaxing brings him great joy 

Actually really loves to dance

He will bring musicians into the penthouse some nights and after dinner you two just dance and dance until you’re ready for bed 

Some nights you two stay up drinking wine, snuggling and talking…watching the sun rise together 

You both dote on Elizabeth 3rd like crazy and you’re helping Jumin learn how to take better photographs 

Surprisingly Jumin misplaces things a lot 

Mostly because he always has SO much on his mind and he is always doing so many things at once that he loses track of little things all the time 

However, you always seem to know where that “thing” he lost is 

“What would I do without you, my sweet,” he smiles 

LOVES your messy morning hair and you love his as well

You’re always still so surprised with how much he reads into Elizabeths emotional state, he takes the smallest gestures from her and really reads into it 

“She walked past me without rubbing against my leg this morning…she must still be upset that I would not allow her on the counter yesterday while we prepared dinner,” he sighs 

Will constantly surprise you with random trips to different places 

He just comes home and tells you to pack your necessities because you are leaving that evening 

Has a painting of you and Elizabeth 3rd in the living room 

He has hand chosen your wardrobe (of course, if you saw something you liked he would encourage you to purchase it)

Often times he will come home with a new purse, shoes or dress saying he saw it in a magazine or shop window and had to have it for you 

Jumin is a plethora of random knowledge

Often times he sits with you and reads out loud to you while you drink wine in the bedroom or the living room 

He loves articles or books on random facts and sometimes he will hear about a subjects and become engrossed in it so he starts to research more and more and falls down the rabbit hole of useless but intriguing knowledge 

Enjoys you showing him new things, he is CONSTANTLY asking you questions 

“And what is this called, darling?”

“Those are french fries.”

“Ah!” he beams. “How fascinating. I have been to France a number of occasions but have yet to see these…’fries.’

Yoosung♡ Panics at first because he doesn’t realize why you’re crying ♡ When he realizes why he gets so flustered ♡ He starts crying with you ♡ He loves you so much too! He’s never felt this way about any in his life, and he just couldn’t believe you felt the same about him♡ He’s also never been this happy in his life ♡ He ends up crying more than you, and both of you end up laughing at yourselves for crying so much 

Zen ♡ His heart completely melts ♡ You actually love him so much you’d cry over it?♡ He’ll pull you into an embrace, stroking your hair while he tells to you stop crying ♡ “I know my looks have moved some to tears before but this is on a whole new level~” ♡ Which got him a smack on the arm he knows he deserves ♡ Even though he’ll tease you about it he had to fight back his own tears from loving you just as much 

Jaehee♡ She gets worried and immediately tries to help you stop crying ♡ Your her love! She doesn’t want you to cry! ♡ When she fully realizes it’s happy tears she can’t help but start crying herself ♡ She isn’t quite sobbing, but her face is definitely wet ♡ You were one of, if not the best thing to ever happen to her ♡ You took her from a person only worrying about others and stressing over work to someone who actually looks forward to each new day with you and the cafe ♡ She’s so thankful for you, and still can’t believe you’re just as passionate about her 

Jumin♡ He’s obviously not much of a crier himself♡ But his entire body feels warmer and his heart feels like it’s going to burst ♡ He can’t even find the words to describe what he’s feeling, which is something that’s never happened to him before♡ He’s so awestruck all he could do is embrace you ♡ He strokes your hair until he can think semi-straight again♡ He gently pulls away to wipe the tears from your face, and spends the rest of the night telling you just how much he loves you too 

Seven♡ Initially he panics ♡ He wants to make a joke to make you feel better to stop crying but his mind is literally blank♡ But it only takes him a second to realize it’s probably not a good idea as nothing was wrong♡ You just love him enough to start crying over it ♡ … You love him that much? ♡ Now he’s crying ♡ You’ve seen him at his absolute worst, and you still love him this much ♡ He never doubted how sincere you were, but it’s completely different to see you cry about it ♡ You both just cry over how much you love each other until he can finally crack a joke about you two, then you both spend your time together crying and laughing

To Borrow #4
