So shit between me and her getting Spicy right . so one day I'm at work and she call called me like yo I'm on my way to Jersey to see you baby so I'll be there at 430.. Me I'm hype I dont get off to 8. So boom, 7:49 hit I'm rounding up my last patient for the day. In my mind I'm like yea bae here and in finna cuddle and watch some movies and eat real good. Came home she there watching house hunters. In my mind I'm like thats werid cuz she hates that shoe. So I came in like whats up baby hows was your flight? She like its good bur I gotta tell you something Jay?. I'm like nah I hope she didn't find my porno stash cuz she hates it. She said bae we,re having a baby!!!!! I'm like say you swear on foe nem. She like foe nem. I'm like yessssssssssss I'm finna have a kid I'm hyped. Spook I'm telling all my friends n shit and my moms and pops. They hyped I'm hyped life is good. So fast forward. Today at 839. I sit in the hospital in disbelief that she is had a miscarriage. I thinking to myself like damn do we try again? Bur in my mind I have to be strong for her. Bur my soul is screaming in anguish, my heart hurt. And my brain is all over the place. But I have to be strong for her. She's a mess.so now we're home shes sleep and in 2 bottles in some wine. Y'all pray for ya boy. I beat covid19 I damn sure can beat this but this hurts my soul. I literally was planning my whole life around my kid but nah it didnt happen.

The Dominicans are ashamed of their African ancestry. I was born in New York City, and I spent the first 15 years of my life around different nationalities, because New York is a really diverse city. My mother’s father was from Puerto Rico,and her mother was from Jacksonville, Florida (my maternal Grandparents). My biological father’s mother was from the Dominican Republic, and his father was from St. Croix in the U.S. virgin islands (my paternal grandparents). My experiences here in the United States, are those of a Black American. I remember how a lot of the Dominican kids that I went to school with didn’t want to identify with anything considered to be Black, and voiced it aggressively. Some of them were lighter skinned, and had features closer to Europeans. Some of them had skin just as dark as mine, and would be damned if they allowed you to associate them with being Black. In my experiences the Puerto Ricans weren’t as aggressive about defending their European ancestry as the Dominicans were. These are my experiences growing up in New York, and I don’t give a fuck if what I said offends anyone.
