But today, my family and I are living in a tent, in unimaginable conditions—surrounded by mud, soaked from the rain, and overwhelmed by uncertainty.☹️
The Israeli army ordered us to evacuate our home in Gaza. With heavy hearts, we fled south, taking only what little we could carry. Not long after, we received the devastating news that our house—our home—was completely destroyed. Everything I had worked for, everything that held the memories of my family, was reduced to rubble.🥹
Now, we live in a tent, struggling to stay dry, to stay warm. The rain beats down on us as the ground turns to mud beneath our feet. The cold seeps into our bones at night, and hope feels more distant with each passing day.😭
I never thought I would find myself in this situation, forced to rely on the kindness of strangers to survive. But here I am, asking for help, not just for myself but for my family, who have lost everything. I want to rebuild a safe home for my wife, my brothers, and my sisters. I want to give them a future, something to hold onto when everything else has been taken away.☹️

Hello, unfortunately my previous account was deleted so I will retell my story, my name is Ahmed Al-Dani, I am 14 years old. I live in Gaza, where I was born amidst ongoing conflicts and wars. In 2008, while my mother was pregnant with me, a phosphorous bomb fell near our house, and I inhaled the toxic gas. This led to genetic deformities that affected the growth of my teeth and hair.
Throughout my life, my family has tried to find solutions to my health problems, and we have visited many doctors in Gaza. The treatment recommended by the nurses was dental implants, but each tooth costs about $1,000, which is beyond our means.
My treatment journey began, but the ongoing conflict has made things more difficult. My family and I have been displaced more than seven times in the past ten months, and we now live in the southern part of Gaza without work or income, relying only on savings that we hoped to use for my treatment.
Please support me or share my story to help me continue my treatment and travel outside of Gaza, where I can complete my dental implants and take care of my health. The total cost of coordinating the travel and medical treatment is $50,000. Every donation, no matter how small, will be a beacon of hope for a better life.

great question. while a lot of these gofundmes started to fund evacuations, since the border will not open they have shifted to covering the costs of daily survival in gaza
the cost of food alone in gaza right now has been reported by journalists on the ground (including @siraj2024) to be 20 times the normal price.
and it varies based on location. the north is currently being starved by the IOF so food prices are higher
and there is a lot of evidence on tumblr that proves that these fundraisers do help
@ma7moudgaza2 was able to buy a tent for his family and is currently trying to pay for a solar panel
@siraj2024 was able to secure rent for a (bombed out, but still) apartment for his family over the winter
@mohdiwais was able to fund medical care for his sister after she was shot by the IOF using funds he raised on tumblr
a gaza-based charity called care for gaza has also been directly assisting families with funds used from their gofundme. they even post videos of themselves giving out food
and those are just a few examples. hope this helped!
