I AM NOT ALIVE - gamedev note
It’s not the spoon that bends.. (according to monkchild in Matrix)
A known theory in game development, even before the Matrix films.
This feature took me 10 long nights of development (and some hours of going completely insane with mathematics), but i finally got the weird physics that i planned for my game. The possibility to walk on the walls, turning everything upside down, wrapping the whole level around the player… Gravity is where the player has his feet.
When travelling to another sector of cyberspace, you have to use the DATA_STREAM. In these spirals and tubelike levels you are able to run very fast and jump higher, because intelligent programs and human sources are always preferred by the routers of the worldnet. The new feature also allows me to create levels where the puzzle is based on -rotating the gameworld-.
I hope you are free of vertigo and have a good sense for 3 dimensional puzzles. Don’t lose your orientation :-)
