Roar || Amy & Jaylon
Amy nodded once as he told her he’d take care of it. She believed he would. She knew he’d do anything to protect the pack. In this case, that’s exactly what they needed. He even managed to thank her, like she didn’t owe him the world. ‘’Can I do anything?’’ she asked, it didn’t mean she’d stay around, but there’s no way she’d leave now to leave them up to a fight like this. If she could help, she would. Even if they didn’t want her help, which she would understand. She crossed her arms over each other, when would people stop telling her what to do? Seriously? She’s not a child anymore. She knew she’ll have to talk to Jay. But she just couldn’t do that right now. He was hurt and she would only make things worse. There is one thing she could fix right now, though.
‘’David take this,’’ she muttered, grabbing this little object out of her pocket. She forced him to turn around again, taking his hand to drop the ring in it. ‘’When you’re ready, pull it on. You’ll see the truth.’’ The object was some sort of demon toy. How she got it wasn’t important right now, the object was linked to Amy though, so whoever would wear it would only have to think about hear in order to see the truth, to see her thoughts, her memories, anything really. Very useful. ‘’Once you have, you’ll understand you can’t tell anyone. For their own good.’’
Amy didn’t want to force him into doing anything. But she trusted him. And it would be good to have at least one person knowing the truth about what happened. And unlike anything he might think of her right now, she actually cared about him; a lot. She always had. She was well aware though, that he was the pack’s leader. She’s a vampire, it never could have worked out. Not even if he’d be interested. It just wasn’t a good example for the rest of the pack, no matter how they looked upon Amy. That had been made clear and they just had to live with it. ‘’It also shows what I’ve seen The Four do so far. We came across them more then once.’’ It might also show him things he wouldn’t want to see, but he could block that out. He’ll just have to find his way to work with the object, because it’s different with every person – it took her a while to find out as well. Except that he’s got hers right now, it’s different when you have your own – then you make your own tactics of getting in, someone else’s might be different. She trusts him, the object is linked to her, she knows he’ll get in because she lets him.
‘’I will talk to my brother, but right now isn’t the time. I’m going to the border, make sure they won’t arrive earlier then expected.’’ Plus she didn’t think the other wolves wanted her around if the plan would be discussed, and she better be gone if Jay got here. But she needed to do something, so for now she’ll just watch the border. ‘’I’ll.. call if anything changes.’’
David turned, looking at the object. He knew quite well what it was and wondered what the shit was going on. Honestly he did not feel like playing this games and it felt like they were. She could just tell the fucking truth if she wanted to and she did not have to be all weird about it. On the other hand he shouldn't judge her. She was probably having a hard time with with things and this was the best way. The fact he felt hurt was something he should not take out on her even if she was the cause. He nodded shortly, grabbing her shoulder to push her back. ''Stay'' He muttered before putting the ring on. He wanted to talk to her when he had found information and she should stick around for that. He needed that and he owed her that.
It took him a long while though. It was weird and he found himself getting into stuff he did not want to see. But he also caught a glimpse of the things that were important. And as he snapped out of it, he took off the ring, gazing into her eyes. The first thing that came to mind made him clench his jaw. 'Why the in the world does it seem right to you to not tell anyone. How in the world did you think that it will be for anyone's own good to keep this from them?'' His voice was hard and strict. He was tense, that was to be seen. Frustrated was the right word. Normally he would try to be the very best to Amy and hug her and take care of her. But he thought it was so fucking ridiculous that it actually only made him feel insane.
''You are not in your right mind'' David said. Stepping away from her. ''People are hurt and people hate you and you have the words to fix it but you won't'' His eyes were locked on hers. ''And I also can't believe you still want to leave'' -and that was the biggest cause of frustration. He turned around and pulled off his shirt. ''I can't deal with this right now I'm sorry'' He kicked the door open and changed pretty much immediately when he ws out. It was the combination of guilt, the fact his whole pack and life was in danger, her decision to keep this from people especially her brother. And she still wanted to leave. But she had no idea what all had happened in the time she was gone. And she had been gone for a long while.
Tyler walked in, frowning. ''I honestly thought that you talking to him was going to make him feel better'' he muttered, looking up at Amy. ''Give him time though, we all know he cares a lot about you'' He shrugged. ''Is there anything I can help with?'' He might be a jerk, but he wanted this pack steady. And Amy had caused a lot of unsteady feelings between the whole pack. David needed to feel better and for that Amy probably needed to feel better too. If everything could just work out.
