The Terra Nova is off the coast of Greenland and the Quest is off Canada's coast.

So what they're planning on doing is creating digital copies of the wrecks/ships.

The Dhofari sanbuq is notable for having remained entirely outside the sphere of influence of the European boatbuilders, and particularly the Portuguese, whose dominion over the Arabian Sea in the 16th century left its influence.

Particularly significant is the fact that the planks, and the keel, stern and stem peice, are joined by stitching, using local coir. In building the sanbuq, the ribs were fitted to the inside of the boat only after the planks were sewn together, a form of construction which is of great antiquity.
