I saw a video talking about how all majority of popular heroines curly hair has disappeared like 30-50 years ago. Heroines like Wonder-woman, Supergirl, Starfire, Poison Ivy had these big beautiful curls and now they’re just gone to straight hair?? Curly hair erasure pisses me off so bad, this is why girls feel uncomfortable embracing their natural hair, they see their idols having straight hair and then feel inclined to hide their beautiful curls because of now’s societal norms.
