Reminiscing about She-ra, and the competition that marked my return to competitive cosplay. This was my last event before everything shut down. I had worked very hard to overcome (or at least manage) my stage anxiety to return to the stage and compete. I had taken a break from competition when I went to Grad school and found it difficult to get back on stage.
I worked my butt off to make She-Ra and hoped my skills still held up in masquerade competitions even after years away. I was rewarded for my hard work with Best Master Craftsmanship and vowed to keep competing that year.
....which would take another two years to happen in person again in all irony XD
