It's 2028. A very old and skinny black tomcat rests on Coraline's lap as she sits in her parents' garden. She's thirty now, living with her husband, and The Pink Palace has been quiet for some time. Ms. Spink and Forcible have finally joined all their beloved Scotties across the rainbow bridge, Coraline's parents now live in what had been the two ladies' part of the house, and Mr. Bobinski has long-since retired from his famous jumping mouse circus. Things have been peaceful. And today, a new family moves in. A family with a young kid, about eleven years old. Coraline feels a twist of anxiety in her stomach, and her hand subconsciously traces her throat, remembering when the Beldam's severed hand had dragged her by her necklace, choking her.

Wybie looks away from his conversation with the new neighbors to check on his blue-haired wife, who still looks as beautiful to him as the day he'd met her.

"She's gone." He mouths to her, head fully tilted, seeing her distress.

Coraline looks down at the cat, who nods as if in agreement, his blue eyes full of wisdom he can no longer share. Coraline smiles. They're right. The Beldam is long gone. The Pink Palace is safe.

I might try to be more active here on Tumblr, it's a lot easier on my mental health here where my Feed is more fandoms and less politics, and as far as I'm aware, it (hopefully) isn't also owned by Meta...

sims 4 crystal legacy challenge

hello! here is a legacy challenge i created while playing the Garden Legacy challenge. i didn’t want to finish on my tenth gen and decided to create my own challenge, based on crystals. this challenge can be continued from a previous save or started in a new one! i also tried to implement base game options for those who don’t own all the packs! some gens do need packs but if you don’t have them, they may be skipped.

Neil Gaiman Offers To Step Back From ‘Good Omens’ Season 3

Neil Gaiman has offered to step back on 'Good Omens' Season 3 for the final series of the Amazon Prime Video fantasy drama starring Michael

Neil Gaiman is understood to have offered to step back from the third and final season of Amazon Prime Video‘s fantasy drama Good Omens.

Deadline revealed on Monday that pre-production had paused on the BBC Studios-produced show in the wake of allegations made by four women against Gaiman, which he denies. This came after Disney’s planned feature adaptation of Gaiman’s 2008 YA title The Graveyard Book was also put on pause.

Now, we understand that Gaiman has made an offer to Amazon and producers to take a back seat on the latest season so that it can continue amid crisis talks over the Terry Pratchett adaptation’s future.

Amazon is understood to be considering Gaiman’s offer and no final decisions have been made. Good Omens S3 is currently in the early stages of pre-production. Gaiman has previously said the show, which is made in Scotland, will shoot from January 2025. Amazon declined comment.

‘Good Omens’: Production Paused On Amazon Drama From Neil Gaiman

Possible changes to Good Omens could be in the works in the wake of sexual assault allegations against creator Neil Gaiman

Production has been paused on the third and final season of fantasy drama Good Omens, the Neil Gaiman drama for Amazon that’s shooting in Scotland.

Deadline is hearing there are discussions about possible production changes. A spokesperson would not comment.

News about the future of Good Omen comes less than a week after Disney put a planned feature adaptation of Gaiman’s 2008 YA title The Graveyard Book on pause amid a series of sexual assault allegations against the award-winning author. (Insiders said multiple factors went into the decision).

(this is actually not very surprising, they probably need to figure out how to de-Gaiman Season 3, hopefully they will solve this and then continue with the production)

30 Days of Sims Challenge!

I'm sure there's, like, a hundred of these that already exist (I haven't looked) but I'm gonna make one anyway!

Every day for 30 Days, make a Sim or Household based on that day's prompt! Mods and Custom Content ("CC") are encouraged, but not required. Sims may be any gender, race, sexuality, etc unless the prompt specifies otherwise.

Prompt List:

TV Show Character: make someone from your favorite show!

Rainbow: make a Household of 6 or 7 Sims based on the colors of the rainbow—indigo is optional—using one color per Sim! Traits should match the color if possible. (Red gets hot headed, mean, or flirty, Green gets vegetarian, jealous, or green fiend, etc.)

Movie Character: make someone from your favorite movie!

Polar Opposite: make the opposite of yourself! Opposite gender, style, interests, traits, etc!

A Sim Who Looks Like An Animal: Werewolves, Nekos, Centaurs, Minotaurs, etc... Mods and CC are def recommended for this one!

Birthstone: make a Sim inspired by your birthstone!

Diversity: make a Sim of a different race, culture, etc than you usually make (keep it respectful and accurate, not harmful)

School Spirit: show off your high school or university pride! Make a Sim using the colors from your real-life high school or college! (Any CC displaying your actual school's name is not recommended if you plan on posting your daily Sims, since that is technically personal info. Safety first, kids!)

Songbird: make a Sim inspired by your favorite song, album, or band! Add Trait: Music Lover.

Famous Singer: make a Sim based on your favorite singer!

Pride: if you're LGBT+, make a Sim with the colors of your flag! If you identify with multiple flags, make a Household with all of them! If you're an ally, either Google a random flag and use that, or dress your Sim like they're going to a Pride Parade! If you're a bigot, skip this one.

Your Style: make a Sim who shares your style, but isn't you!

Go Sim Yourself: make your Simself as accurate as possible!

Hashtag: Goals: make your idealized self as a Sim! Who would you be, what would you look like, how would your life go, in a perfect world?

Decades: make a Sim that captures the spirit of your favorite decade! Or if you really want a challenge, make a Household of various decades up to now!

Cryptid Sims: make a Sim based on your favorite cryptid! Mods/CC encouraged!

Seasons: make a Household of Sims, each inspired by a season (winter, fall/autumn, spring, and summer)! But no cheating by just adding or downloading Father Winter to your family, that's no fun.

Elements: make a Household of Sims based on the four main natural elements (earth, water, air, and fire). Additional elements are allowed, but not required.

The Olde Gods: make a Sim based on your favorite Greek, Roman, Egyptian, Norse, etc god or goddess!

Florals: make a Sim based on your favorite flower! Add Aspiration: Freelance Botanist

Yin-yang: make two Sims inspired by Yin and Yang! ☯️

Celeb Sims: make your favorite celebrity as a Sim!

A Little Birdy: make a Sim inspired by your favorite bird!

Tourist: make a stereotypical tourist Sim!

Cat Lady: make a Loner Sim who loves (and owns lots of) cats!

Simblreen: make a Sim who's ready for Halloween! Occults encouraged! Or make a Sim inspired by your favorite horror movie. Anything Halloween-ish!

TITSOAK: this one is for my rattie Simmers! 🐀✨ I see you, I'm one of you! WTHHYBL?? Make Twilight inspired Sims! No matter if you're Team Vampire or Team Wolf, make whichever family you preferred as Sims! Or if you're not into Twilight, just make either a vampire family or a werewolf family, with a single human Sim.

Disney Princes and Princesses: make your favorite Disney prince and/or princess as a Sim! Their outfits can look accurate to the movies, or be more modernized/casual as long as it's easy to tell which prince or princess they're supposed to be. Disney's Descendants is included in this! Since the 4th full movie recently came out 👀

Solar System: make a Household based on the planets in our solar system! Pluto included!

Hello Mr. Gaiman, I wanted to thank you for writing Good Omens and making it into serial. I have some mental problems and every time I feel really bad I remember Crowley saying: Suicide is just wrong. Anytime I feel bored, lonely, at my lowest,… I always read or watch good omens. It’s part of my life now. Crowley and Aziraphale are my comfort characters. Every time I feel down they help me to get pack on my feet. They always make me laugh, believe in love and myself, surprise me whit something new. Thank you for bringing them to my life.

Also I can’t wait for next season

The Sims 4: A Series of Unfortunate Events Challenge

By me (@jazzyjasper98 ) 💚. I couldn't find a Sims 4 Challenge based on the original books or movie A Series of Unfortunate Events by Lemony Snicket, so I decided to make my own.

POV: You're Violet Baudelaire/The Eldest Orphan

Upon enjoying a seemingly average day at the beach with your two younger siblings, you receive the news that both of your parents have perished in a fire that's destroyed your entire home. Orphaned and homeless, you are sent to live with a vile, grime-covered Count who claims to be a relative and has a number of schemes to get his greedy claws on your family fortune. He's also weirdly obsessed with eyes for some reason. It's up to you to protect your siblings and your inheritance from your new dastardly dad.

Long Lifespan recommended. (••• Menu > Game Options > Gameplay > Sim Lifespan)

Also Highly Recommended, but not Required — MCC Command Center Mod to allow your teen Sim to parent their youngest sibling.

Rules and Gameplay:

Start with two adults, one teen, one child, and one toddler in a mansion of your choosing. You may use "TestingCheats True" + "FreeRealEstate On" to move them into their first home. Names and genders are completely up to you.

Traits:

° Parents: Family Oriented + 2 of your choice

° Teen: Genius, Creative, Good

° Child: Genius, Bookworm

° Toddler: Inquisitive

Aspirations:

° Teen: Knowledge — Academic

° Child: Mental — Whiz Kid

Once your family is made and moved in, exit to Manage Worlds and create or choose an adult to be the Count, build/choose a decrepit-looking home to move him into, then return to the family.

Aspiration: Fortune — Fabulously Wealthy.

Traits: Mean, Evil, Hates Children.

Optional: Use the cheat "ModifyRelationship [Parent First Name] [Parent Last Name] [Count] [Count's Last Name] [Amount] LTR_Friendship_Main" to set the relationship between each parent and the Count before they perish, since Count Olaf knew the Baudelaires and caused their demise in the original story. Friendship amount can be anything from –100 to 100.

• Have the teen take their siblings to any beach (preferably on a cloudy day like in the movie, but this is not required), then switch control to the parents. Make them cook, leave the fireplace on too long, or use cheats/mods. Whatever starts a fire. Make sure neither parent survives. Then bulldoze the lot in Build Mode.

• Use the "Money [Amount]" cheat to set the family funds to §0 (or almost 0), then merge the orphans with the Count household.

• Give 'em hell. It's the "Series of Unfortunate Events" challenge for a reason. Make your Count perform a number of Mean and Mischief interactions with the children. Just try to not let child services take them away, since nobody helped the orphans in the original Series until it was nearly too late.

• When the teen ages up to Young Adult, use money cheats to make the orphans wealthy and move them back into their parents' burned down mansion and build another one (or choose one from the Gallery).

• Live Happily Ever After.

Goals and Epilogue:

Have all three children survive living with the Count until the eldest grows up and inherits their parents' fortune. This is not points based, and there's really no way you can lose — unless you have the Extreme Violence and/or Life Tragedies Mods to add some extra drama, in which case the intentional death of any child by the actions or influence of the Count results in the challenge being lost.

You are allowed to make other guardians like Uncle Monty and Aunt Josephine from the original Series, but you're not required to. I wanted to keep this challenge as simple as possible for Simmers with limited packs.

Once they have a new home and their own lives back, the challenge is over and the rest of their lives is up to you!

His point is basically that he’s going to go where he’s wanted. Guys like Brett realize, as he’s leaving that he’s actually beneficial to the society he’s leaving. If he wasn’t, Bret would be celebrating. This brain drain they’re fretting about is entirely of their own bigoted doing. If they’d thought about retaining great contributors to society instead of culture wars, there’d be no issue.
