been thinking abt a/b/o and race and i imagine that there is a lot of intersectionality with that.
like, take for example: lewis hamilton and jude bellingham. i believe it’d be like a situation as there is being a black woman, it isn’t being black and being a woman, it is being both simultaneously.
that is how i think the topic of black omegas should be approached. there isn’t being black, or being an omega, it’s being a black omega. it is being both simultaneously. there isn’t taking one part of your identity and that being a factor in how the world perceives you, it is taking both parts. you cannot separate the experiences because they are unique to the person.
there would be experiences of being black and of being an omega, but combining them results in something distinctive and different. there would be discrimination and perceptions put on a person. i imagine that black omegas would be hypermasculinized on a higher level than their white counterparts, whether that person is masculine or not. and i imagine that there would be community, but white omegas wouldn’t be able to truly understand the oppression black omegas face.
i just overall think that the experience of a black omega, or thinking of a black person as an omega, cannot have one identity separate from the other. it is unified and harbors a certain environment a person will experience
I honestly feel so strongly about this topic like the hypermasculinizing of black individuals overall that becomes especially prevalent in an interracial ship. People don't look at personalities, their background, their interactions with the other half of their ship or even just any of their other interpersonal relationships they have, it's just, black=dominant/masculine.
Is Jude 6ft and in shape? Yes
Does he get intense in the throws of his sport? Yes.
That's not something you can use as a reason when they ALLLLL DO THAT ACROSS THE SPORT.
And on the spectrum of intense and aggressive players Erling is on the higher end. People literally refer to him as an armoured titan on social media.
In all of their interactions Erling takes care of Jude, picks him up, manhandles him, rushes to comfort him on yellow cards, gets in the face of players on the opposite team that gets in Judes face. The list goes on. You genuinely have nothing based in logic as to why Jude would give alpha or more dominant within the scope of his dynamic and relationship with Erling.
He's just not white.
