If I were a billionaire I would absolutely tell my secretary to send wedding gifts to anyone who sent me an invite regardless of if I knew them, because- A. I know how expensive that nonsense is. B. I would be a billionaire and when else am I gonna do with that much money? Honestly… and C. I would totally make showing up at random weddings with crazy awesome gifts my new stress relief hobby. “Congratulations random strangers! I admire your daring and stratigic planning. Here’s that 700$ tea set you wanted but assumed no one would ever buy.”
“we invited an eccentric billionaire to our fake wedding in the hopes of getting a free present, but then they said they would come and now we have to have an actual fake wedding for them to attend.”
Maggie Covington never thought herself to be sexy – not in the conventional way at least. She couldn’t really compare to the kind of girls that a guy like Joe Jonas brought home. She always felt like she was more on the average side looks-wise; nerdy even. She sported glasses and a ponytail half the time and she could usually be found in the library studying rather than in a night club. She mostly kept to herself, but loved deeply. She enjoyed taking care of everyone and everything around her – whether it be people or animals.
In fact, it was how she first met her newest neighbor in the fall of 2010. His dog, Winston – who she aptly nicknamed Winny, much to his owner’s dismay – got out of his house and began running amok in the courtyard. Maggie was the one to seize the pooch. Winny ran straight to her when she called and began sliming up her face with kisses.
“You are a lover, aren’t you? Funny, puppy. Where is your human, huh? Where are they?” Maggie spoke to the little black and white spotted bulldog like she would a baby or young child.
When she looked up, it was as if an angel was hovering above her. Well, maybe not so much an angel, rather an extremely attractive raven-haired man with a huge smirk on his face. Maggie had never seen such a perfect specimen in her entire life – the smile, the body, the charm. His eyes were covered with white wayfarer sunglasses, and his perfectly aligned teeth matched the color of the shades to a T. Maggie was struck speechless as the man bent down placing a leash on the dog’s collar.
“Thanks,” he said, smiling at her. Maggie stood up slowly, keeping her eyes on the dog’s owner.
“You’re welcome,” she said quickly, realizing he’d spoken and that maybe she should reply.
“I think he likes you,” the angelic man quipped.
“I think you’re right. What’s his name?” She said as she looked down at the dog and then back up at his human. He smiled jovial at her, causing her to smile as well.
“Winston,” he answered.
“You’re a good boy aren’t you, Winny?” Maggie asked the dog, bending down momentarily to pet his head again.
“Winny?” The man chuckled.
“I like to give everyone a nickname, regardless of species,” she explained, smirking bashfully.
“Ah, well, I’m Joe,” he said, holding out his hand to shake hers.
Joe, huh? She placed her hand in his, feeling the warmth of his tanned skin against her own. And in that moment, it dawned on her. She knew who he was. She knew of him at least. He moved in that summer and word around the complex was that he was some famous guy. She heard through the grapevine that he was Joe Jonas from the band the Jonas Brothers. Maggie knew of them a few years back, but never really got into them. She remembered hearing a song or two of theirs on the radio, but nothing more. She remembered not being too impressed when hearing that a Jonas Brother moved into the complex, but now – wow. She should have paid more attention, because he was a fox.
“What’s your name?” He asked, giving her a sideways smirk as they continued to shake hands, and she realized she went into a brief daze thinking about him.
“Oh, uh, Maggie. Maggie Covington,” she told him and quickly took her hand back.
“Maggie. I like that,” he said with a smile as he slid his sunglasses up to the top of his head.
She was blushing and she knew it. It was not every day she was met with a pair of eyes she could easily spend the rest of her life staring into. Even though she was sure he was the owner of a beautiful pair of brown eyes, in the sunlight his eyes almost looked multi-colored. The way the light hit them it look as though they had bursts of green and orange in them as well.
“Do you live here?” Joe asked. Maggie almost didn’t hear him because she was too busy staring at his eyes.
“Hmm… oh yeah,” she stammered, smiling bashfully again.
“Same here,” he said, returning a smile.
“Yeah… uh, I think we’re next door neighbors,” she pointed out, almost wishing that she kept that stalker-ish piece of information out of the conversation.
“No way,” he chuckled.
It wasn’t a big shocker to her that he didn’t see her around since he moved in. She really didn’t get out much. Unless it was to go to work, school, or the library – and really the library didn’t even count because for one, she worked there and for two, the only other reason she was there was to study for school.
“Yep,” she said awkwardly, swaying back and forth on the balls of her heels.
“Well, Maggie. It was really nice to meet you, but Winston and I have an appointment to get to,” he said, smiling widely at her.
“Oh. Yeah. Don’t let me stop you,” she said waving her hand through the air. Maggie quickly bent down to say goodbye to the dog, rubbing his ears playfully in her hands.
“I’ll see you around, Winny,” she told the canine. Winston jumped up and licked her face one last time.
“Aww, thanks boy,” Maggie giggled as she wiped the slobber away.
“Told you he likes you,” Joe said, smiling at her as she stood once again.
“The feeling is mutual,” she said truthfully, giving Joe a smirk.
“See you later, Maggie,” Joe said finally and she could have sworn she saw him wink at her before he turned to walk away.
Oh goodness. She already knew she was smitten with him and his dog with just one meeting. Never mind the fact that she knew she didn’t have a single chance with him – probably not even in her dreams either. He was a famous boy bander after all.
But little did she know, the day she met Joe Jonas would change her life forever. She soon realized it changed her life in regards to having one more thing to worry about. And her crush on Joe most definitely kept her occupied – whether it meant she had to study harder to keep her concentration on the material in front of her rather than the perfect chiseled body Joe so proudly worked out every day; or having to worry about Winny when Joe was off jet-setting across the country. Maggie officially became Joe’s dog sitter that Christmas when he flew back to Dallas to visit family.
She was certain she would have done anything Joe asked of her, because they were friends and because she was falling head over heels for him though he didn’t know it.
Unrequited love. Ain’t it a bitch?
Whelp... I think we may have seen the last of Jonas Brother Fanfiction Archives, unfortunately. It makes me incredibly sad because that website was my life for YEARS! Anyway, I’ve had a few requests to post my stories from JBFA somewhere (anywhere), so I decided on tumblr. I started to re-write this story almost two years ago now, so it might be a little different than you remember it. The story is still the same though. Enjoy! Please “heart/love” the story or comment or BOTH! I’d really appreciate it! If you’re reading this story for the first time, WELCOME!
In the darkness before the dawn In the swirling of the storm When I’m rolling with the punches And hope is gone Leave a light, a light on “It’s almost twelve,” Joe breathed quietly in Maya’s ear, despite the fact that all of their friends were mere feet away from them. Maya’s breathing hitched. It was never spoken out loud that 12 am was a thing between them. It was just something she’d noticed – like a coincidence. She looked at Joe questioningly, wondering if it was planned that way all along. Like it was his master plan for all these years. 12 am. It was their time. “You…” She breathed, unable to finish the sentence. “I covet this time of night,” he whispered, leaving a kiss on her forehead before walking away, silently begging her to follow him.
I posted chapter 2! Any reviews are appreciated! Thank you!
I have always been in love with Joe.
Joe has always been my best friend, but never shared my feelings.
Nick was Joe’s pesky brother and has always hated me
because Joe and I always got into trouble together.
We were teenagers, now we’re all adults.
Things can change in a blink of an eye.
And they did.

I posted a brand new story entitled 12AM. Unlike most of my stories, this one will only have five parts/chapters. I have it (mostly) written, so I hope to post frequently - depending on reads & views, I guess. I know JBFA is pretty much a wasteland now, but I hope there are still some diehard fans out there that still love the boys and still love reading fanfiction about them. :)

I just posted chapter 28 and it’s really long! Go check it out!
Love me like you do. Touch me like you do. What are you waiting for? What were the perks of working for an eccentric billionaire, you ask? Did you want a list? Because I am sure I could enlighten you. I didn’t just clean his laundry, I helped keep it dirty. And he was damn good at keeping me dirty.
Use the time of a total stranger in such a way that he or she will not feel the time was wasted.
Give the reader at least one character he or she can root for.
Every character should want something, even if it is only a glass of water.
Every sentence must do one of two things—reveal character or advance the action.
Start as close to the end as possible.
Be a Sadist. No matter how sweet and innocent your leading characters, make awful things happen to them—in order that the reader may see what they are made of.
Write to please just one person. If you open a window and make love to the world, so to speak, your story will get pneumonia.
Give your readers as much information as possible as soon as possible. To hell with suspense. Readers should have such complete understanding of what is going on, where and why, that they could finish the story themselves, should cockroaches eat the last few pages.
