No hope for negotiations....
Both, the Hon. Prime Minister of India and Pakistan, are adamant on occupying Kashmir and believe it to be their territory. The people of Kashmir want an independent state, not influenced by either Pakistan or India. They want to be left alone and not involved in this political conundrum. However, the voice of the people of Kashmir was suppressed by both countries and the military of both countries have conducted mass shootings in Kashmir resulting in the death of 250 people and injuring nearly 800 people. Indian military has invaded Pakistan occupied Kashmir and have captured the head of Hizbul Mujahideen and the head of the Muslim Conference. On the other hand, Pakistan Military assassinated the Vice-chief of RAW, causing political turmoil. Altogether, both the countries have turned a deaf ear to the explicit recommendations given by the Secretary General and the Deputy Secretary General of the United Nations. The United Nations Security Council has called for an emergency meeting. Currently, armies of both the countries have been mobilised and have locked horns with each other.
