I wish Donald Trump was a President I could believe in. I wish he were a President who inspired me. I wish he were a President who cared about more than just himself. I wish that the good of the country transcended party lines and business ties. I wish our elected officials would roll up their sleeves and actually produce world-changing legislation. I wish that in my lifetime, I could see those with real power do some real good. I wish that we knew how to disagree with one another without hating each other. I wish my kids could grow up in a world where race didn't matter, where differences made for better friendships, where diversity is celebrated. I wish Dr. King's dream would turn to reality.
