You can't sit around and wait for life to live you, you have to get up and live life.
Also, I cut my hair off. It’s in a pixie cut but I’ve been wearing it in a mohawk style the last few days. I always said I wanted to wear the mohawk style, so I finally decided to take the plunge and do it...sorta like taking a cross-country road trip. #bucketlist #2021
Sometimes, you have to get out and go! You have to be like Forrest Gump and just run...until you stop.
Seeing life through a new direction has changed everything. It's changed my mind.
The beautiful views on the way to California were something else, indeed!
So...I’d spent the better part of the last forty five years being smothered by the hills of West Virginia. A small-town girl born and raised by the small-town way of life...and man, did I NOT know what I was missin’...everything.
I was missing everything.
Life, people, the flow of living.
No wonder I was depressed most of the time and could barely force a smile even on the best days. I hated it there...in West Virginia. I’d always dreamed of being somewhere else...anywhere else.
Now, after driving cross-country from WV to California for the last week and seeing this beautiful land I’ve called home all my life, I realize there’s an entire world waiting to be taken for an adventure and an entirely new me waiting to take it.
If you want to change your life, go ahead...change it!
Made it to California...finally! It only took four days of driving to get here from West Virginia, but that was stopping twice to stay in a hotel two different nights...once in downtown Denver, Colorado @ The Curtis and once in downtown Las Vegas, Nevada @ MGM Grand.
We arrived in Los Angeles, CA last night and stayed in Manhattan Beach @ Westdrift. But now, it’s time for relaxing @ Santa Monica Beach, USA tonight!Â
