Gouache sample from primary research photograph.

I tried to achieve a similar aesthetic to Batman: Arkham Asylum by using gouache paints to create a very textured and in some places very abstract look. 

I used bright colours to try and keep a sense of happiness and warmth. I touched on experimenting with comic panels but the aim of this was to experiment with paint and also try and improve my skills.
