no piece of teen media has ever accurately depicted the quiet psychological warfare of bullying. bullies on TV are always dumb brutes and not the evil geniuses of emotional manipulation that they are in real life. being given a wedgie and having your lunch money stolen is nothing in comparison to a classmate quietly creating a taboo against speaking to you that they intend to enforce against all the other kids. it’s nothing like continuous cutting comments from people you thought were being nice to you. that way that the work of one kid can make you feel like every person on earth silently hates you and that you are dirty, disgusting, worthless, creepy and useless. that you can have friends but many of them will not speak to you at school for fear of the social consequences on their end. how that damage lasts in any social setting for the rest of your life

Yellow and Brown are hands down the most queerplatonic-coded duo I have ever seen in any of the shows I’ve watched. As a queerplatonic person myself, I can confirm. They just share the exact same braincell,, they’re the secret third option of being very bonded cats (very bonded cats who share a union that’s just the two of them. And honestly, them being bonded via such a distinguished way that’s not explicitly a relationship or marriage is the most queerplatonic thing to me),, I love them they’re very important to me. happy pride month gays

i love the amount of worldbuilding done in Among Us (show) bc there's just enough setup to do a season 2 w/out reusing any of the characters and have a kind of anthology vibe and there's just. different unethical business practices every time and it leads to copious amounts of slaughter. and then the survivors from previous seasons can be brought back for season 3 or 4. maybe the aliens work a little differently each time, just for fun eg. the salt rule, or maybe there are different types of alien impostors. that being said s1 is also a fantastic standalone.
