Believe!!!

We hear this word often, especially if you are in church or following Christ.

We know the word of God tells us at the moment we believe, we shall be saved. We also know from the word of God that even the demons believed.

So what is the difference.

I have thought about this for a while. I come in contact with many who say they believe in God and Jesus, yet they are not Christians, nor living a life which glorifies God.

I think belief is like crossing this bridge. Bear with me. You are lost in the woods, animals and unfriendly are chasing you, trying to destroy you, when you come to this bridge. You look at it, and believe it can hold you, deliver you to safety, but still you look for an alternate route to safety. The evilness is closing in: do you believe the bridge is safe enough to cross or do you go elsewhere?

we are faced with the same question daily: do we believe the bridge will support us enough to step on, or do we believe it would, but still don't trust it, and look elsewhere?

Jesus is our bridge!! We can put All of our faith ( belief) in Him and step on, allowing Him to support, and deliver us, or we can say we believe but yet search for alternative ways.

Are you stepping on the bridge or are you finding an alternate way??

Mani's do not have to be boring. My Mai Tai had faded a bit but still had life left in them.
