i’m sure someone’s said this already, but the “samalamadingdong” game changer ep is so good not really because sam’s getting a taste of his medicine. but because it’s actually showing us how much sam loves his friends. he remembers brennans monologue, can name episode off of the top of his head, genuinely thanks brennan and everyone else at the end, because really. he’s just having a great time. and everyone that took part in the episode are not really there for revenge. they’re there to make sam laugh, to help him and comfort him. it’s all just one big show of love, i think.

Vic Michaelis going into a Game Changer episode they aren't in, pitching a video featuring Brennan Lee Mulligan to fake-quitting Dropout, not participating in its creation at all but earning $20,000 for it, and then completely breaking the game that they are not a contestant in by getting everyone including Sam to be a part of it- that's the most Vic Michaelis thing I've ever seen.

when I was a kid I read a sci-fi story where some researcher discovers that all crocodiles since prehistory have had the same congenital heart defect, so they set about curing it. when they do, suddenly their research specimen starts getting stronger and healthier and growing rapidly and developing new appendages, and it turns out all crocodilians were actually stunted sickly forms of dragons. that story really stuck with me because it's basically an expression of the "what if I went to the doctor and they discovered I was deficient in one special vitamin and then I took a pill and all my problems and ailments vanished immediately" fantasy.
