Title: Crow

My second ever gouache painting and my first painting where I sketched it in paint instead of pencil! Also my first ever painting of a bird making this painting quite ambitious and challenging. I like how it came out!

My first gouache painting!!

There was so real meaning or idea behind this painting, I just wanted to paint my new bleeding heart plant (Lamprocapnos)!

I have issues with the amount of negative space on top so I might come back to this later and add some more leaves and stems above the flower?

Title: One of them is not like the others.

A watercolour painting of two ladybirds and the false ladybird, Endomyche Coccinelle. I did these three paintings separately and merged them together digitally as I couldn't find watercolour paper large enough haha.

This painting not only represents my love for painting beetles but in my own way what it feels to look like a typical person but beneath that struggle with two disabilities. I'm not sure if that makes sense to anyone else but it makes sense to me and that's what matters.

Title: Pomegranates

Watercolour painting of a pomegranate I cut open and ate yesterday. I even saved and planted some of the seeds as it was a gorgeous colour. I forget how difficult they are to paint so I will definitely be revisiting this painting in a year or two to see if I've improved.
