So I feel like a lot of people are taking mirrorball at face value and that might be what Taylor intended. But my interpretation is that it’s about taylors relationship with the public and her relationship to fame. Brace yourself you might think it’s stupid but :

This could reference her lows in media such as the snake incident. She’s so high up, when she falls she falls HARD.

Taylors 30, generally in society that’s usually the time women in the entertainment industry start declining in popularity, hence the end is near. Shining just for you being performing and working hard to make the fans happy.

I feel as though this is a reference to taylors ever-changing genre and aesthetic. She also has stated she felt it necessary to change things about herself to keep relevant.

She’s on the tight rope, she’s walking the very very thin line trying to keep people liking her.
