I'm gonna list here a summary of why I love Tenna and you should too! With screenshots from the actual game, so everything here is canon or a very obvious interpretation of canon!

1: He literally speaks in word art

4: He can shrink and grow depending on his emotions (and he grows a flower when very happy!)

6: Grandpaw doesn't know what an email is, but can still do the splits mid air and fights like he's 20 years younger

7: He DIED with his arms cut off, and his death was LITERALLY A PROPHECY (Don't worry, he lives later if you recruit everybody on the chapter!)

8: He thrives with attention, but in the time of the chapter, he isn't getting much attention, and has issues of letting go of the past

9: He. doesn't. stop. mentioning. his. FREAKING. EX!! (There are more mentions, but those are less direct and can only be understood by those who know the context of chapter 2)

10: He does have a secret scene with his ex later in the chapter, and he either doesn't recognize him, or pretends he doesn't (the ex in question being the one and only Spamton G. Spamton)

I made so many posts dicussing Detroit Become Human, I cant believe I never made a post about Leo Manfred! So this will be fixed now.

Because like, probably everyone felt like this the first time they played the game; that they didnt like Leo and thought of him as a minor antagonist to Markus story, right? At least thats the opinion I have encountered the most.

But quite honestly, I gotta defend Leo. Simply because of what D*vid C*ge has written for him as a background story. (read ALT text if better quality is needed)

Like... He was raised alone by his mother, never met his dad until he was 16- And hes pretty young too! By the time the game is set, Leo is 26. It just really makes the player wonder if aspects like this made him return to red ice, plus we barely know anything about how he grew up.

Also, the game paints Leos jealousy of Markus like its crazy, but quite honestly? If I was a struggling, young adult who barely knows his world-famous dad- AND said dad now has a caretaker who he seems to see as a son, a son he treats MUCH nicer than you? That must hurt BAD. Of course I understand Carl not giving Leo any money, thats actually a good choice considering how he would spend it, but Leo needs help- And yet all that happens is that hes being sent away. When really what he needs is professional help, maybe proper conversations.

Anyway, uhmmmm. No, I dont think of Carl as a villian I need to clarify that. But also, I cant personally ignore how hes treating his biological son.
