A little more pictorial detail on why I nicknamed this Yellow Crowned Night Heron CSI (Crab Savage International). He put this little ground crab through the wringer prior to finally consuming him entirely. Both claws one by one, then the legs, then he continued to toss the body around chomping it hard with each catch until he cracked the main carapace. Was interesting to see that his nictitating membrane closed every time he chomped down on the crab. He finally woofed it down in one gulp. Savage, Indeed, Hakuna Matata!!
