FIND YOUR VOICE! I saw a FB memory pop up from a post I made in 2017…. I was SO sick that spring. I had a severe cold and lost my voice. But not for a few days...for a few weeks (I literally could not speak for 3-4 weeks)! It finally turned out I had a mild case of pneumonia and laryngitis at the same time. So while it took several weeks to get back to normal, I made myself one promise in the post I made…. “I will never take my voice for granted again!” It turns out I meant that literally and figuratively… I have found that by sharing my voice and telling my story I am able to help & inspire others. I don’t just mean through coaching. Telling the story of your experience can help you grow your business as well. If you are a Realtor...when meeting with a client who has a situation similar to one you’ve been in before just say something like this... “You know Dave...I helped another client in a situation just like yours...and this is what we did to get their house sold and moved to their new city in time for the kids to start school on time…” Whatever business you are in...you have a “story bank” to draw from when speaking with your team, your employees, your clients and even your boss. Keep a “story bank” as thoughts pop into your head throughout the day...journal, phone notes, google docs...whatever is convenient (or you won't do it!) Study them.
