Its been NINE YEARS and i still dont think anyone knows exactly why teen titans was cancelled
Same reason Young Justice and Green Lantern The Animated Series were canceled: Girls liked it. Bruce Timm finally up an’ said it out loud in an interview a while back when he was asked why in the hell GL:TAS had been canceled when it was doing so well on every front; DC’s animation department has institutionally decided that feee-males don’t/can’t/shouldn’t like superheroes, so even if a show is drawing in great viewership numbers and has great toy sales, once they find out that it’s popular with women and girls, they pull the plug on it. Cartoon Network loved Teen Titans— two million viewers for new episodes will do that— and wanted a Season Six, and the production staff was already in the planning stages for it; they were going to have a big arc about Terra and why she was Living Normal, and do a lot more with the extended Titans team members.
This is so fucked up.
To elaborate on this point a bit, the reason this happens is that modern television merchandising aims for total market segregation.
In a nutshell, it’s much more efficient to sell things to people if you can divide them up into tightly defined subcategories that have no interests in common; that way, you never risk accidentally competing with yourself.
This is why children’s toys (and toy sales channels) are actually much more strongly gendered these days than they were forty, thirty, even twenty years ago: one of the basic market segregation splits they’ve decided to use is “boys versus girls”.
Ever wonder why you see Avengers t-shirts that leave Black Widow out of the group shot, or Guardians of the Galaxy action figure lines with no Gamora? That’s market segregation in action.
The upshot is that shows with crossover appeal can actually be cancelled for being too popular with girls; they’re viewed as “stealing” the female market from the specifically girl-targeted media that rightfully “owns” it.
This is the sort of thing folks are talking about when they say gender roles are socially constructed, by the way. The gender split in media merchandising? It’s not just artificial, it’s deliberately imposed as a top-down marketing strategy. When folks try to justify it by saying “this is the ways it’s always been” or “this is just what the market wants”, they’re lying through their teeth - this is, in fact, the merchandisers dictating to the market what it wants in order to sell stuff more efficiently.
(Interestingly, the reverse isn’t always true: if a specifically girl-targeted show unexpectedly becomes popular with boys, sometimes rather than being cancelled, its merchandising will shift to court the male collector’s market. TV execs are so sexist, even their sexism is sexist.)

Ten Times you are nice with your teammate and One Time he left you without words
aka How Seb try to be the best Kimi’s homie in one single night and he winning again!
1) When you are exhausted but you still bringing wet towel to your teammate
2) When you are at top and still you need for another handshake with your teammate before the national anthem
3) When you try to celebrate with your teammate but he already occupied
4) …And you try again!
5) When a journalist ask to you about your relationship with your teammate and you share your personal-deeply feelings
“Honest answer: no. I’ve always liked Kimi because from the very first day I joined Formula One he was one of the guys who showed me most respect. There were other guys who lost a little bit the ground under their feet but Kimi was definitely not one of them. At that time I was nobody in F1 and he was a great champion already. It was great to see that he pays that much respect. And since that day he hasn’t changed. I think people love him for the fact that there’s no bullshit – as he often quotes – he’s here for the racing bit and that’s ultimately why we’re all here: we love racing. So, I don’t know, I think we get along well. Obviously I had a better day, compared to him today – but if it’s the other way around I think it’s only fair to be as fair as him today.”
6) When a jornalist ask about your childhood idol and you end up to talk about your present teammate
“You know the way I was growing up, I just enjoyed racing and then to find myself nowadays having a teammate that I looked up to when I was young, racing him and seeing what he does, racing on a similar level to him.”
7) When you deny the age of your teammate and the time together left
“I think Kimi is now 33, 34, 35, 36! OK. I think it’s impossible to predict the future. I think we are now on a good track with the team, Kimi and myself, so I think we’ve got some years ahead of us which we can enjoy. In a way you can forget the statistics, I think the most important thing is the sheer fun in life and get paid for it, that’s a great thing.”
8) When you don’t believe what your team has done at your teammate and you are bothered it
9) When to sit next to your teammate is more important of what your team expected or where your trophy is waiting for you
10) When you win the race but you are the first fanboy about the achievement of your teammate
+ 1 When your teammake is know like ICEMAN and he put your relationship before winning on internation live press conference
“I’d rather be with him in the same team and he wins and I’m in a third place than he’s in another team other than Ferrari.”
So gay. Such boyfriends.
E.N.D and Law
With the current developments in the manga and the speculations that Natsu may turn into E.N.D in the course of the war has got me linking a few facts disclosed in Fairy Tail Zero to a probable progression of FT.
Firstly, E.N.D. The strongest Demon created by Zeref to destroy him. Also one of the strongest, if not the strongest, characters in the manga.
Next, Law. The spell Mavis cast to save Yuri Dreyar from being possessed by the Tenrou Jade.
Now here is what I think of all this.
It is really curious that the magic ‘Law’ is what made Mavis cursed in the first place, sine the spell wasn’t ‘complete’. But nevertheless, the spell worked, freeing Yuri from the possession.
Now what exactly did Mavis say Law did?
“Law, a great ancient spell known as the absolute judgement magic. It is magic that, from the perspective of its wielder, saves all that is good and annihilates all that is evil.”
And doesn’t that sound like just the spell we need?
It’s confirmed that Natsu is E.N.D and most people believe that Natsu will cause havoc, that he will destroy and kill and be out of control. And so far we thought we had one solution to the problem; The One Magic: Love.
But the truth is, we’ve always had another alternative: Law.
But the catch about law is that it requires 10 years to be a master to wield it. But Mavis took that chance resulting in her current state, inside the lacrima.
Law could save Natsu. Because from the perspective of his guild, he is good. The demon created by Zeref is bad. So while the demon would be destroyed, Natsu will live.
It sounds tempting but then again, who would cast law this time around?
Maybe Mavis, if her astral projection is capable of using magic. Chances are 50/50. She did save the Tenrou team from Acnologia.
Maybe Makarov too, because I think ‘Fairy Law’ that Makarov used on Tenrou Island is the same as ‘Law’. (Chapter and page here)
And Hades uses ‘Grimoire Law’ before telling Makarov to stop because ‘this is deterrent magic’. (Chapter and page here)
But basically, I think it’s all the same thing.
But what if Makarov is rendered unable to cast Law and Mavis can’t do it either?
In that case, there’s only one person in the guild who’d take the dangerous chance if it means saving Natsu; the one person who matters most in the manga.
Lucy Heartfilia.
But here’s the biggest question of all, ‘How does One True Magic play into all of this?’.
So here’s a random, well thought out theory: What if Lucy casts Law and ends up cursed? If the One True Magic is indeed love, I can see Natsu saving Lucy from the ‘curse’ with the one true ‘magic’. A ‘Curse’ overcome by ‘Magic. And it makes perfect sense. Why?
Because this is the one thing Zeref couldn’t do. He couldn’t save Mavis because of his ‘curse’. And Natsu may be able to save Lucy because of ‘magic’
And in the end, all is well. E.N.D destroyed, Natsu saved and Lucy unharmed.
I know this sounds outrageous, but it’s just a theory that came to me. And it actually fit the bill.
Because it promises a happy ending.
I think it’s gross that people ship Mest and Wendy as a couple – submitted by anonymous

Top 2 Reasons I’m Psyched for Pokemon Go
1. CONVENTIONS. OH MY GOD IMAGINE GOING TO SOMETHING HUGE LIKE COMIC CON OR ANTHROCON (OR MY HOME, ANIME BOSTON) AND HAVING TENS OF THOUSANDS OF PEOPLE TO PLAY WITH. GETTING TO TRADE WITH PEOPLE AT SPECIAL BOOTHS IN THE DEALER’S HALLS/ ARTIST’S ALLEYS. TEAM ROCKET/GYM LEADER COSPLAYERS TEAMING UP TO BATTLE PEOPLE. FOR GODS’ SAKE THINK OF ALL THE POSSIBILITIES!!!
2. But more importantly…
Something like this will encourage kids to…imagine again.
My Millennial brethren, think back to when we were all wee tots, when Pokemon first hit the U.S. by storm. Remember the feeling of that Game Boy (Color) bouncing around in your pocket, just waiting to be whipped out after school so you could keep training to finally beat that one Gym Leader. Remember taking the rubber band from your stack of Pokemon cards so you could lay the smack-down on that kid who tried to steal your Charizard card a few weeks ago. All the toys, the huge Pikachu/Charmander/Squirtle/etc. pillows to be found in retail stores across the country. Promo cards you could only get in theaters or special edition VHS tapes of the first three or four movies. Burger King’s run of Pokemon figures and plushes to commemorate those same movies. Big brand foods marketing Pokemon-themed munchies in the grocery stores. A Golden Age if there ever was one to be a child.
Now remember…remember when you so badly wanted your Pokemon to be real to you.
Carrying them with you, especially inside your Game Boy, made it feel like they were right there beside you. Like imaginary friends they may have ghosted beside you as you battled other people, or just while you carried out each day as you always did. Your Gyarados hanging out in your pool, your Growlithe sleeping at the foot of your bed to keep monsters away, a Pikachu snoozing at your feet as you waited for the school bus.
And now with this game…with this game, maybe a new group of kids will be able to feel a glint of that very same magic that livened our own childhoods. Done right, having an AR game like this will give children (and us) back their Pokemon imaginary friends, and what’s more they can now show them to other people and “prove” they are real, even if others can only see them through a tiny plastic box.
So next spring, you Millennials, get ready to get a piece of your childhood back and to share it with other people in a way we never thought could happen back then.
Almost made me cry
Me at 13: I'm gonna be a pokemon trainer when I grow up!
