I CAN EXPLAIN

I wrote a fic (on Russian) about Angie and her life. I told you about it, the "wonder" one. And there was a line, where Angie, as a person with "zero minus one" friends started to send letters to Eacker (there was kinda strange thing, like a secret best friend). And then, they decided to meet.

When George met her, he was scared and disgusted of her face, so he told her a lot of shit, and that was one of the steps on her ladder to become completely insane. But anyway it looks like, some people on Russia are believing in this pairing more than in God.

I know all of you already did wish each other a merry Christmas. But in Russia and some other country's we are selebrating New Year (and selebrating it like Christmas, but without religious part). Like, there is nothing wrong about showing women as the stupid sexy toys, but when one girl says "I don't like it" there is always somebody to call her a bitch. Well, it looks like, men are so pure.

Любимые? Ну, пожалуй, мой самый любимый персонаж - Анжелика. Люблю я её, очень сильно. Дальше идут и остальные женские персонажи, а ещё Лафайет. А вот очень не люблю я Александра, Джона Лоуренса, короля Георга и Джеймса Рейнольдса.

Как вы относитесь к разнополым отношениям в реальной жизни и насколько феминистичной считаете свою точку зрения?

Здесь должна была быть шутка про напрямую, но потом я вспомнила, что я лесбиянка. Я считаю, что разнополые отношения имеют место быть, но из-за гендерной социализации они просто не могут продлиться достаточно долго, не став токсичными. Но я уважаю людей, которые выбирают людей другого пола для длительных отношений и искренне восхищаюсь, например, моей знакомой старушечьей парой, которые вместе уже 50 лет. Насчёт феминизма - феминистских течений примерно дохуя, я просто не могу описать, как на это смотрит феминизм, ибо это давно уже не единое движение.

Let’s talk about Aaron Burr.

I’m kinda annoyed. Why? Because I see everyone saying that he was “a horrible person irl and I honestly hate him”. I just want to prove that he wasn’t an asshole or a bad person, he was just a REAL human who made both bad and very good things.

So let’s start, shall we?

Bad things he did

•Shooting Alexander Hamilton and not regretting it until years later.

•Apparently, trying to take over Mexico.

•Starting an epidemy.

Now, the good things he did.

•Taking care of other people’s children whose parents couldn’t for free and treating them as if they were his.

•Fight for women’s, immigrant’s, slave’s and black people rights in general.

•Help Maria A LOT on her divorce with James. (He was her lawyer and he also helped her to take care of her daughter Susan).

•Being a GREAT husband and father. (He made all he could and more for give his daughter the best education and he treated his wife as equal and truly loved her.)

•Plus, he never publicy insulted or humiliated anyone (unlike someone I know).

Now, as you can see he isn’t that bad, is he?

People seriously need to understand that history is more than black & white and that there’s also grey. Nobody is a full demon or a saint. And that’s Aaron, a normal person like any of us who can make both bad and good things.
