I could make a game where the main villain was named “evil mcrapegenocideface” and a side character was “innocent mcvictim” who was mcrapegenocideface’s rape victim and if there was a single bright color 13 year old lesbian fujoshi tumblr fandom larpers who will never play the game because they’re allergic to downloading it on the App Store or using the switch they already own and saw a shitty video essay on it would draw ship art of the two characters and talk about how cute and tumblrsexyman mcrapegenocideface is. There would be thousands clamoring for the two to make amends in the next game and become consensual lovers so that they could scream “OMG MY SHIP!!!!!!” while watching a vtuber play it that screams in a pedo-baiting child voice over all the dialogue all the fucking time. Maybe the game would have awesome gameplay that reinforced the story’s themes and made you feel more connected to the story through playing it but all the 13 year olds would scream whenever a new piece of “lore” was dropped. when someone would ask them what their favorite part of the game was they would say “0mGEE the LORE, I LOVE the DEEP LORE” and if you asked them about the gameplay or story or its intended message or themes they would go “you’re being too critical!!!!” And fake cry about it hoping you would feel bad for them cus they’re just a baybeh.
