I literally made this blog mostly because I have recently got into team fortress 2 fandom, saw there is a tickle community for it which content I absolutely loved and wanted to like/reblog it but my other blog, my main blog, well, let's just say no one there knows about my tickling obsession, so I made a new one to talk about the tickle stuff freely.
The content will likely be mostly that + maybe some other thoughts connected to tickling and I sometimes write tickle fics. No, I don't take requests unless stated otherwise but sometimes if I really like what's in the ask it might make me write a fic or a short drabble for it.
Also *cough cough* big lee!Scout believer. Guy's my favourite character so...
You can send whatever tf2 tickles related asks to my inbox, in fact, feel free to spam it. You don't understand how much I love getting asks, whether they are headcanons, actual asks, tickle scenarios for the mercs and anything else I can't think of as of now.
Ok, there are a few things I'm not interested in:
anything sex related (I am asexual and sex-repulsed, pls respect that <3; having said that as long as it's not presented in a sexual way I'm fine with pretty much anything like nudity or any restraints, yes, heavy ones too. The thing is that those things are seen as sexual kinda by nature and I hate it. I won't see it this way)
ler!Scout. I only like my guy as a lee cause that's what my favourites get :]. The only ler!Scout I'm sorta fine with is in a tickle fight sense, but then again that would make him more of a switch!Scout

Iāve been writing fanfics featuring tickling for 10 years now. I have played with my style a lot, and I have also read a ton of fics from other writers. Here are some tips and tricks to writing tickling in fanfiction.
Deciding your prompt
Have a favorite fandom? Character? Favorite scene? Take your love for this character/fandom and brainstorm some things about it. What situation(s) would you love to see in this fandom/for your characters? Your character high strung and gone through some shit? Maybe domestic fluff, something to ease them. Two characters absolutely in love with each other? Maybe theyāre on a date and things get a bit playful. Think of a scene you absolutely want to see and brainstorm.
2. Keep your character in character
What habits do your characters have? They a chronic coffee drinker? Smoker? Always moving their hands? Feature this, keep them active, keep the character doing what they would do. If they have a specific way of speaking, highlight this, but not in a way that is too much. For example, if a character has a specific accent, there is no need to have all their dialogue highlight it. Make the dialogue easy to read, but also sound like them. Example:

Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Like yes, this is how someone might speak, but write it the normal way so itās easy to read, but also mention if they have a specific accent.
Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā āIt is beautiful out tonight, isnāt it?ā she said, accent thicker than usual.
For keeping in character with the tickling scenes, think about how the character is. Does this character usually speak matter-of-fact and are fairly stoic? This person likely would not use babytalk at all, as it doesnāt fit with their character at all. Take Sherlock for example. His voice stays the same monotone unless he experiences intense emotions. Unless he is clearly mocking someone, there is no way in hell he would use babytalk. Think of your character saying ātickle tickle tickle!ā or āyouāre so tickle wickle wicklish.ā Does this sound like something they would say? No? Then donāt add it. I have stopped reading so many fics due to misplaced babytalk.
3. Tickle community lingo
We all know the terms ālee,ā āler,ā and āswitch,ā but most others donāt. Neither do your characters (unless your characters are in the tickle community in your fanfic). Donāt use these terms in your fanfiction. It will take most people out of the story.
4. Show donāt tell
Show the reader how the character is being tickled. Show me how the character moves around while being tickled, how they react. Most people instinctively fight back or try to get away. Based on how your character normally acts, show what they would do in this situation.
āShowing,ā in this case means that you describe the actions of the characters. Instead of saying, ācharacter a tickled character b. Character b laughed and laughed.,ā show the readers what you are envisioning. An example from one of my own fics:
Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā āāWhatāre you do-doing,ā Arthurās words stumbled together once Hosea latched onto the boyās ribs, madly vibrating his fingers over and between the bones. Arms shaking as he tried desperately to not fall backwards, Arthur instantly barked out a laugh and could not block out the sensations resonating from his middle. Boisterous laughter erupted from him as Hosea spidered his fingers lower, kneading into Arthurās stomach.ā
Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Here, I described how Arthur laughed, how he was being tickled, where he was being tickled, and how he was reacting. This way, the readers can imagine exactly what is happening in the scene. Be descriptive (no need to overuse a thesaurus though!) and your readers will be happy.
5. Laughter and dialogue
Do NOT use all caps for laughter unless youāre using it sparingly. If you use it to accentuate the rise in ticklishness, be careful not to overdo it.
How NOT to do it: āHAHAHAHAHAHAHA STAHAHAHAHAHAP IT RIGHT NOHOHOW!ā He screamed through his laughter.
How to use it: āStop tickling me right this sec-NO!ā Mickās laugh suddenly exploded, becoming loud and carefree the moment the assailantās fingers began to tease the undersides of his knees.
By using the second option, we can imagine when the action [fingers on knees] happens during the dialogue. Itās easier to read than the first example and shows more of the scene. Most readers say that if they see the first example, they instantly stop reading the fic. To avoid this, use the above āshowā method to describe the laughter, instead of repeatedly typing out āhahaāsā repeatedly. You can show how much they are laughing by just describing the scene and it will make the readers (and your caps lock) very happy.
6. Paragraph breaks
Split your writing into paragraphs. Every time a new person speaks, new paragraph. Every time you switch topics, new paragraph. If your paragraph seems clunky and possibly too long, new paragraph. Remember those 5 paragraph essays we all did in school? Forget about them. Purge that shit. Make as many paragraphs as necessary, especially when dialogue is being used.
Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā If you donāt split your writing into paragraphs, a puppy dies. Donāt kill puppies. Use paragraphs.
7. Have fun
Fanfiction is meant to be fun. If you arenāt happy while writing a fic, then just stop. Write when youāre happy; write to make yourself happy. Donāt become me, a crotchety old fuck that despises some of the fics Iāve written because I wasnāt happy making them. Write fanfiction for yourself. If itās not something you wouldnāt read, then donāt write it.
More things could be added here, but these are the most crucial tips and recommendations I have. Be sure to be creative and have fun! I hope to read your fics in the future!
Here's a question that you probably didn't consider: Is Saxton Hale even able to be tickled? I bet some of the mercs tried to do that (especially in the Vs. Hale mode), but do they succeed or nah?
Well, to start us off, the question is is he even ticklish? And my reply is yesn't because I like to play around with mercs' ticklishness depending on the scenario. Having said that, I have very much been in lee!Saxton mood before. It's rare but it happened, usually when I was in the mood to see big, strong men who I usually see as perfect lers being helplessly tickled themselves >///>
As for the success part, I think we need to look at each mercs individually:
Scout: yeeeeah no, Scout's whole thing is being able to avoid punches by being quick and agile, he might be able to squeeze Saxton's sides or poke him at most before scurrying away. Or dying
Soldier: One of our somewhat better candidates considering his lack of self-preservation plus being quite strong. Nowehere near as strong as Saxton though, likely to end up being tickled by Saxton in revenge instead
Pyro: Pyro is a c r e a t u r e, they'd try tickling Saxton when he's focused on beating up someone else. It doesn't last long, but Pyro might actually have some success
Demo: Yeah no. He has practically nothing to protect himself while he's that close to this behemoth of a man, the only thing going for him is being drunk and as such having no inhibitions. Still, he wouldn't succeed
Heavy: He has his strenght, sure, but Saxton is basically Heavy 2.0- stronger, taller, has more mobility. If he actually tried and managed to pin Saxton down he might have some chances, just not for long
Engineer: Yeeeeeah nooo. We're working with them all wanting on their own to try tickling Sax but even with that it's hard for me to imagine Engie doing it. Still, even if he did he would end up thrown into the sky, likely
Medic: Ok, this one might actually survive tickling Saxton for a while. Maybe. Like, he could prepare - some drugs or else to weaken Saxton at least for a minute or two, plus Medic would have strong motivation - if he considers Heavy a good subject then he must think the same of Saxton - unnaturaly strong and tall, basically with superpowers and then there's the whole australium thingy. Plus Medic doesn't fear death, the whole multiple souls things and yada yada
Sniper: Aw hell nah, this man is dying, has nothing going on for him in this situationship
Spy: Possibly the merc who succeds at tickling Saxton the most since he can just *poke* *goes invisible* *poke* *goes invisible*. It's not very intense, but he might actually be able to drag it out in time
So in short:
Might actually be quite successful: Medic, Spy
Might be successful but for no longer than few seconds: Soldier, Pyro, Heavy
Nope, will fail and die: Scout, Demo, Engineer, Sniper
So is Saxton able to be tickled? Yes, it's just very very hard to do
Fandoms have a serious problem with how creators are being treated these days.
Fandom creators spend hours of their free time to create something to make fandom thrive...for free and for the love of the game.
And what do they get? A wholeass heap of fuck all. No reblogs, no comments, no nothing. And people are surprised that creators are dropping out left, right, and centre??

I implore you to ask yourself: "What's the last thing I did to support my fandom? Does my favourite creator know they are my favourite? When was the last time I left a comment under something?"
Just a thought I realized when scrolling through your blog, I just imagine Merasmus tickling the daylights out of Soldier bc of the beef they have with each other lol

I don't know if this is the post that inspired you, but I said it in a post before - I love Merasmus because he in a proof that there is real, tangible magic and magic spells in tf2 universe and of course those are wonderful for tickle scenarios
And yep! Soldier being Solider and having his... dynamic history with Merasmus would definitely be a really good victim for the magician. Ohhh not so strong now, is he?

I appreciate you coming off anon, however like I said, I don't take fic requests at the moment. I do sometimes, and maybe I will take them in the future, but not right now for multiple reasons, one of them being that fics don't get enough attention as it is, especially about something as niche as tf2 tickles and while I'm not asking for much I am in fact asking for something
