I did some sketches for the different parts of the Vector in my fic.
This is the rough design for the ship. It's a small but functional design for getting people between the planets.
These are all the rooms I've designed so far. Some notes below:
Breakdown's room: designed with both his own tastes as well as Knockout's in mind. It's fairly minimalistic, but his main concern was having a calm spot he could relax on off time. Lots of touches both from earth and cybertron. I like to imagine he has little movie nights in here.
Wheeljack and Ratchet's room: top old person comforts. It's their spot to relax and sleep at the end of the day. Extra high bed so they don't have to deal with bending over too much and a little temporary bed (totally not a spare box with a bunch of rags shoved) in to keep Ratchet safe. Pictures of the Dinobots are everywhere.
Jazz’s room: He filled his space with Prowl in mind. It's reminiscent of their shared space in the Ark, but not too distant. Diplomas and pictures of home, both on earth and cybertron on the walls in a careful grid. They have a daybed connected to the desk and a little spot for Jazz to sit and listen to music.
Soundwave’s room: For someone so organized, his room's a mess. Scribbled drawings and toys are everywhere. His bed is the largest, taking up most of the room, so everybody can stretch out. Lazerbeak has her own space above. The vents are able to get to (almost) everywhere in the ship, allowing the cassettes to move freely.
Thundercracker and Skywarp’s room: Similar to how they used to live, filled with personal touches from each member of the trine. A writing desk is set up for Thundercracker, and spare books and maps are everywhere. A projector is usually on playing some soap opera or romantic comedy drama in the background. (He won't admit it, but Thundercracker snores awfully if he has too much room to stretch out, much to Skywarp’s annoyance)
