Miraculous Mysteries: Volpina In Heroes Day.
Ok so in my last post about Lila I mentioned something that still bothers me. Ladybug clearly stated twice that Volpina was the reason everyone saw Ladybug Akumatized and then killing Chat Noir, in Heroes Day. And yet for some reason no one, and I mean no one in the whole class/school even questioned how Volpina could have been in Paris, if Lila herself was away on the other side of the world?
But lets be rational, there are some good reasons at to why this is.
1) No one knew that Lila was Volpina.
To this I say, no. Why? Alya clearly stated in both the French and English dubs of the episode Sapotis that she looked like Lila when she was Akumatized after transforming into Rena Rouge. So clearly Alya knows. But, to be fair not everyone in Paris, or even the whole of Marinette’s class, is going to be up to date on every Akuma Villain, but if Alya knew then why hasn’t she brought it up yet?
2) Lila made up another lie, saying Hawkmoth somehow managed to transport her back to Paris.
I haven’t really given this one much thought as even I don’t believe it. But I think everyone in the class (asides from Adrian and Marinette) would have no problem believing this one.
3) There is more than just one person who could be Volpina?
I know this one sounds a little far fetched, but I do think this one is possible. Even though we haven't seen it yet, it could be possible that some Akuma Victims might have some of the same issues and problems to past ones. Of course this sort of Akuma hasn’t happened as of yet, but there is a good chance that this is another lie that Lila could use, and I think it’s more believable than my second theory.
4) This will be addressed later in the season finale, or in the episode Ladybug.
This is possibly going to be reviled in the last three episodes at some point, which is possibly for the best for build up. That way everyone gets to confront Lila all at once, and her mother finally finds out what’s been happening behind her back. But like I said in my last post I think Lila needs more time with her parents. So I think this one is the most likely reason why no one in the show has questioned why Volpina showed up on Heroes Day.
And that’s all I have come up with so far. I am aware that the second one is very weak, but it does feel like all the kids in their class will more than likely swallow any Lie that Lila gives them at this point.
I’m probably just looking too deep into something that was most likely just over looked when the episode(s) were being written, but what do you think of this question? Is it possible that this is just a writing mistake? Or could this be something that will get addressed later on at the right time?
