My dad is a really funny guy. Spent a few hours Saturday afternoon cranking out this page about a recent phone call. 10x14 or something on Bristol board. Sharpie marker, some gray Copic markers, a little Pentel brush pen.
Toss a bagel to your Witcher you bread house of plenty. Geralt and Roach just stopping by for coffee. Panera Sketch #28. I finished this a few weeks ago but was waiting for the weather to get nice enough to take the sketch book outside and take a photo with my phone. Black Prisma pencil on 11x14 paper.
My last drawing of 2019. A brush pen sketch I made of the Mandalorian. I was watching the show with friends New Years Eve while we waited for the clock to strike midnight so we can pop open the sparking wine and toast in two thousand twenty. This drawing is crude, but is should be adequate to identify young Din Djarin for a post to the internet. Black Pentel Pocket Brush Pen on white paper.
From the moment the Martians ordered our sandwiches, ate our bagels, and drank our coffee they were doomed ...and also needed a rewards card. I finished this a few weeks ago, but had to wait for a nice bright but overcast day for a photo. 11X14 Black Prismacolor Pencil on paper.
My latest finished Panera sketch, number 26. There’s something a little mite -y about this drawing. Black Prismacolor Pencil on 11x14 paper.
BEHOLD! My next Panera Sketch. I’ve apparently been thinking too much about the Dungeon and Dragons lately. I finished the drawing a few weeks before my next DnD group game. Just the usual of customers and beholder. Black Prisma pencil on 11 by 14 paper
A drawing I did one afternoon of my Dungeon and Dragons gaming group. Brush pen ink on paper with some Copic and Artist Loft makers.
Panera Sketch #24. 11x14 black Prismacolor pencil on paper. I don’t know if it Captain America’s there because Avengers Endgame came out two weeks ago or because the guy on the left looks a bit like Tony Stark or just because I’ve liked Cap since I was a kid inthe 60′s. I remember having a Ben Cooper “Captain America” costume for Halloween in ‘67 when I was a kindergartner. Captain America and TV’s Batman. They rocked.
Latest Panera people sketch this time with something a little Muppet going on. 11x14 blue Prisma Pencil on paper. Kermit by the way drinks his coffee black, only because they don’t make green coffee.
First Panera of 2019. There are some things I’d go back and fix, but as I said before, ya can’t erase Prisma pencil. Pikachu is cute, but then Pikachu is always cute. 11x14 black Prisma pencil on paper.
Last Panera drawing of 2018. New Years Eve. A sketch of my lovely wife along with the cute bear that was enjoying a latte at the table behind us. Black Prisma pencil on 11x14 paper.
Last sketch of people at Panera for the year 2018. This one more animated than some of the others. Black Prisma pencil on 11x14 paper.
A sketch I finished a few weeks ago. Just the usual scene for people and their bears having coffee and brunch at Panera Bread. Prisma Pencil on 11x14 paper.
Domo Arigato, it’s a bunch of robot-os. Doodling some robot designs and practice inking with a brush pen on some 14x17 paper.
There were some rough pencil that I did on a first try for a maker Mecha Kong that I was going to throw away. I decided to trying inking them instead with a brush pen. I’m glad I didn’t trash it. It’s pretty cool if I say so myself.
I’m apparently on a robot roll. I recently saw King Kong Escapes so I had to a Mecha-Kong. Copic markers and Prisma pencils.
