Like many, Im a huge fan of Yvan Bilibin illustrations and paintings, I have been inspired by his amazing work for years now, but never took the time to try to infuse it in my own work. these days, Im trying new methods and ways to start a painting. For this one, even tho I had an idea in mind, I first painted rough blobs of greens, added the character in one go afterwards, and then tried to make sense of everything.

I have been discovering your art on my dash by accident and finally followed you. It is amazing and your Finrod is appropriately dramatic. I adore him.

Because you have said you love Tyelpe (and tagged silvergifting) and by the sheer amount of Finrod drawings (and the Sauron drawings earlier) I am guessing you like Finrod and Sauron as well I'm recommending you every Silmarillion fanfiction chthonion has written. These fics are what got me sympathizing to Sauron and what got me into Silvergifting. Chthonion has two series with Finrod, Celebrimbor and Sauron as main characters and they are both amazing series. I'm kinda mad at that bc I cannot find the dynamic feeling that right between the characters anywhere else.

About that drawing with Celebrimbor. I was planning to draw Annatar for the couple. But I'm too diffused artist and always switching between ideas and sketches, sorry for the false promising in tags!!

Thank you for the fic recommendation! I adore how various fandom is. For me Silvergiftings and Finrod/Sauron stories seemed to be very different and I preferred it being separated. For this days I'm really obsessed with One Thousand And One Nights-esque AU by am_fae, I can't stop thinking about this piece of art and how could story be evolving after that.
