Rest a moment and reflect...

Some reflections for Sunday as I had a really crazy week though it's not over yet. Today is homework day. But I think if listing them out helps me so much, maybe someone else needs to hear them to... If someone says you "work too much" take it as a compliment. It means they wonder how you do it all. Even if you know you're a hot mess, somehow you make it look like you've got it all handled. Kudos. When all you count are your problems, that's all you can see. Count your blessings and be thankful and suddenly your problems don't always seem so overwhelming. The grass is greener where you water it. Apply this mantra liberally. Have faith. Always. Stop and ask yourself, "Did I communicate myself clearly and reasonably? Did I do the best I could? If I were feeling differently, would I still make the same choice?" If your answer to any of these is no, you're not done yet. And lastly, when your plate is full, there is only one way to handle it. One bite at a time. Thank you to the angels in my life that remind me of these reflections all the time. I love your faces.
