“No, at least I went and met someone.” Though Alec cursed himself for admitting that out loud. Saying it out loud only made this far more real. If anyone was going to understand it was Jenna and he shouldn’t have been so freaked out to say anything.

“I want to…I think he wants to. At least I hope so. But you should see him. He was something else and I might have made a fool of myself, but I don’t care.” He flopped down on the bed next to her and stared up at the ceiling. “He’s there for protection, so you…you can’t tell anyone, okay?”

“And I’m happy for you.” She couldn’t wait to tell him all about Rosie but she would wait until he told her all about the male he met at Magnus’s apartment. She just wanted him happy and she could  already tell the empath he met made him way happier then she has ever seen him.  “He’ll contact you when he wants to see you again.” She grinned  at her best friend and reached over to play with his hair slightly. “He  seems like a wonderful guy and I can’t wait to meet him.” Alec was like a brother to her and she wanted to meet the guy that made him happy. “You know your secret is safe with me.”

“Are you okay there? Being so close to the ground can’t smell so good.” Maybe it was Jenna that brought out this side of him, he didn’t know. Either way he felt a little smug until he remembered what they were talking about, poking his tongue out as he reached his door and pulled it open.

“His name is Lucas, he’s…charming and frustrating…and I want to see him again.” Alec felt slightly disarmed, but he didn’t want to run away from it.

“I’m fine you ass. Though being so high up must be lonely.” Jenna teased back, digging her chin into  Alec’s shoulder as revenge for his joke. She could still kick his ass though and she was standing by that statement. Well unless he wrapped her in his arms like a bear hug then she wasn’t going anywhere.  “Then you should see him again. You gotta tell me everything about him. Like why he was at Magnus’s?” She hopped down  and moved to lay on Alec’s bed.

Alec huffed a laugh when he felt Jenna jump on his back, her, Izzy and Max might have been the only people who could get away with something like that without him trying to fight back. “I missed you, too, kid.” He murmured, even though they were the same age. Though he blushed when she mentioned his time at Magnus’, it wasn’t often he did, even though Magnus was his closest friend other than Jenna. But he blamed this entirely on Lucas.

“Magnus wasn’t there, he was…well, a friend of his was there. He’s an empath, I think. We talked for a bit.” He shrugged, walking towards his room.

Jenna knew that Alec wouldn’t dump her off if she jumped  on him, but she did want a piggy back ride, she liked feeling tall okay? “Same age, remember. I know I’m short.” She grinned when she seen the blush on his cheeks and reached up to poke his cheek softly, wondering what could make her normally level  headed friend blush, or rather who could make Alec blush like this. “Ohhh, what’s his name. Tell me everything.” She wanted to know everything about this empath that Alec liked.

Jenna couldn’t wait until she could tell Alec all about Rosie but knew that they couldn’t speak about it openly since they were the only two out shadowhunters and the looks they got when they were in the same room together made her wanna  punch someone. So she bounced behind her best friend and jumped on his back, wrapping her arms  and legs around him. “I’ve missed you.” She squeezed his neck a bit and nuzzled into the block rune. “How was Magnus’s?”

“Mmhmm…” Rosalie had the feeling that Jenna was the one saying those words then it was going to make a difference. Either way, running into her tonight was the best that had ever happened to her.

“I promise it’s not that far away…” Rosalie let out a loud moan when Jenna pressed against her and she knew that they had to move. She reluctantly pulled away and stared at the other woman longingly once before tugging on her face. “Literally just around the corner…” Though it didn’t seem close enough.

Jenna knew running into Rosie was the best thing that happened to her even if they were in the middle of a war. She was glad she could find some happiness is such dark times but knew it wouldn’t last if Valentine wasn’t stopped soon. She didn’t want to drag Rosie  into her life if she could help it. She didn’t want her to get hurt because of her. “We better get going then.” Her voice was rough as she spoke, wanting to draw out all the noises she could out of Rosie but knew they had to wait for a little while. “Lets get going.” She swallowed hard and forced herself not to just tug the woman closer to her and kiss her breathless.

“If you say so, I guess.” Though Rosalie didn’t comments like that coming from Jenna, she liked the way those words made her feel and already decided that it was the other woman who made it happen. Maybe the blush was worth it, too.

Rosalie took her hand without hesitation and stepped even closer. “I can…ohhh.” She went just as easily as her hand and wrapped her free arm around Jenna’s waist, sighing in contentment against her…but she wanted more. “We should do that again…with less clothes.” She was only half teasing, tugging on Jenna’s waist.

“I do say so.” Jenna hummed, knowing she would have to  compliment Rosie more to get her to believe she was worth it. Another Alec to her but she didn’t mind, both of them was worth it. She was gonna prove that to both of them she swore. Jenna laughed lightly against Rosie’s lips at her words, nipping at her bottom lip lightly as she pulled away but didn’t step away. “Sounds like a plan to me. Gotta make it to where you’re staying first though.” She couldn’t resist kissing her lips against, pressing herself completely against Rosie’s body.

“I got nothing on you.” She murmured. Normally she wasn’t this forward…oh who was she kidding? Rosalie always made a fool of herself when she liked someone and although this felt different, she could practically feel the blush coming on.

Rosalie raised a brow, unable to hide the eagerness in her expression. “Yeah? I mean if you want to get pizza later, I’m staying just around the corner…hell we could get take out.” Rosalie knew that if she didn’t ask now then she would have lost her last nerve.

“Nah, you were pretty badass. It was hot.” Jenna prided  herself in being forward when she liked someone and she liked what she saw with the woman in front of her. She  always liked the blush on her face, it made her look adorable. She grinned brightly and moved closer to the female, holding  out her hand. “That works for me, lead the way.” She couldn’t wait to have Rosie all to herself behind closed doors. “But first.” She gripped the back of her neck and pulled her in for a kiss,  letting out a soft moan as she did.

“Looks like we got something common other than our good looks.” She teased, though Jenna had taken her by surprise and Rosalie couldn’t stop looking at her, was there something wrong with her? “You got time to get something to eat? There’s a pizza joint around the corner and…I’m doing this badly, ain’t I?”

“Seems like it.” Jenna smirked a bit, she couldn’t help but be attracted to the female in front of her. Alec was so going to kick her ass for thinking about having sex instead of looking for Jace but she couldn’t help it. “I got time to eat more then pizza.” She told her with a long look over her body.

Rosalie continued to grin when she heard the other snort, the reaction really could have been worse. “It’s part of the family business…on both sides.” Though Rosalie wanted to get back to her normal job just so that she could have a breather. “The pleasure is all mine, believe me.”

Jenna couldn’t wait to tell Alec about the stunning  woman and she had a sense of humor. She wondered if he would be mad at her if she slept with her before  continuing to look for Jace. “Same here actually.” Both parents were shadowhunters. “I’m sure it is.” She looked at her up and down and licked her lips.

Rosalie needed to remember to keep her flirting in check, it got her in trouble at the worst times, especially when a hunter had just wrapped up. “Yeah, it’s not the first bitch from down under I’ve taken care of,” She shrugged before offering a hand out. “Rosalie Wang, you can call me Rosie.. or whatever else you want.” She teased.

Jenna snorted out a laugh, gripping her hand and shaking it with a grin on her face. She couldn’t deny the woman in front  of her was beautiful. “That’s good to know.” At least she knew how to defend herself against demons and the other stuff. “Jenna Rawson. Nice to meet you.”

“I don’t know who you are–” Rosalie dusted off her jeans, though she knew the blood wouldn’t be getting out of them tonight. When she finally looked up at her new companion she stopped in her tracks. “–well, hi.”

Jenna didn’t know the human in front of her could see her but she thought she did because she could see the demons she was after. “Hello.” She smiled a bit, putting her blade away. “Are you alright?”

“Of course I do. How else am I going to get all of these? You don’t expect me to just walk out with them do you?” Adrian smiled at her, “It’ll be money well spent. Trust me.” The money wasn’t a big deal to Adrian. He knew exactly where he wanted each piece. He had finally gotten his own house at court and it could use some spicing up. He couldn’t deal with bland decor. “If you like, you could help me decide where to put them.”
