first rule of storing tupperware is have fun and be yourself. second suggestion is slam the cabinet door quickly and don’t worry ‘bout it.
Fanfiction exists for TWO reasons:
Dealing with complex thoughts and emotions I can't work through in therapy, like grief, despair, a complicated relationship with pain and addiction
Seeing the same characters fuck over amd over again
And they can be both at the same time if you want!
sorry for being annoying [remembers that practicing gratitude instead of shame is better for my mental health and my relationships] thank you for letting me be annoying with you
I enjoy My Lady Jane tremendously because it is a glorious glittery amalgamation of stuff I love but on rewatch I am particularly enjoying Rob Brydon having the time of his life with a codpiece and a cunty little earring
What made me decide to watch My Lady Jane was that I was on a train, and I caught a glimpse of Rob Bryson and his codpiece and cunty little earring on the iPad of a person sat over the aisle from me. I immediately looked up what that could possibly be, went home, and watched it right away.
You don't see that every day. Pretty big night for hockey.
he would have interviewed the fuck out of those vampires
The more I think about it the funnier the concept of this episode is. They really sat down and said: let’s discuss our dating history. And the dating history is: I once spent 5 minutes with a man who wasn’t you, hated it. Truly podcast episode of all time. Give those men another golden headphone.
Hi, I’m here to propose that A.A. Milne’s distinctive syntax in the Winnie-the-Pooh books is a major origin of modern Capital Letters Used For Emphasis On The Internet. Observe:
(in which Pooh wryly self-deprecates)
(in which Eeyore masters modern sarcasm)
(in which Eeyore is vagueblogging)
(in which Owl says something i would absolutely type in the YOOL 2017)
(In which Eeyore continues to be a shining example to us all)
(in which Pooh describes a Big Mood)
(in which Piglet has a Relatable Experience)
I could go on, but you can read the books and find your own. It’s a weirdly modern-feeling layer to an old, thoroughly enjoyable story and most of the original Pooh books are online for free. I cited from this online text upload of the book. Enjoy!
holy shit i think you just cracked the linguistic case of the era
has anyone figured out how to turn off the thing where you love your pet so much it slides inexorably into grief-borrowing

SUPERMAN 2025, dir. James Gunn
I genuinely do NOT understand people who think Kim Gaon is anti-murder and write him that way in fics. The man literally tried to kill the person who destroyed his family, not once but TWICE.
AND THEN tried to blow up his mentor along with himself.
AND THEN was going to help Kang Yohan kill all those people and die with him.
The man is canonically NOT against killing people.
At best, he tried to pretend like he was because he knew that he should be, and that's what the people in his life expected of him. He only gets upset about killing and people dying when it affects his relationships with other people and the way that they see him. Once he no longer has to pretend for Professor Min or Soohyun, he doesn't even try to act like he's bothered by it.
Seriously, that's one of the major appeals of the character and the show. Gaon's struggles between how he actually feels and what he's been told he *should* feel. The push and pull with the darker parts of himself...Yohan trying to get him to embrace that part of himself while Soohyun tries to erase it.
