Girl, just do what you can with that little life. Nobody's judgment is worth a damn here.

I was someone who had zero health issues until I turned 44 last year. All of my issues have been dealt with except one last thing, which I was scheduled to have minor surgery for today. I was originally supposed to have surgery in August, but had Covid the same week and had to cancel. Yesterday, the hospital called to cancel the surgery again, this time due to the IV shortage. This surgery has the potential to improve my health in multiple ways, so I am praying it gets rescheduled soon.
Apparently Stanford did a study that showed women have two ages of steep decline in their health, rather than a gradual slow decline. The ages are 44 and 60. If this is true, I dread turning 60. What an exhausting, scary, and frustrating 18 months it has been.
And now with every headache I get, I freak out that it’s related to the major health issue I dealt with. Fun times.
Apparently they have rescheduled the surgery for Halloween day. Not sure how the IV shortage was resolved that quickly, but hoping it really happens this time 🤞🏻
