I am still so proud of this piece, proud to have completed it. I would say, it’s not just my favourite piece of 2022, but one of my favourite pieces I’ve ever done, not because of any aesthetic, but my pure emotional attachment to it. I’ve told the story several times, in person at a few Cons, and on different social media platforms. It humbled me, and the response was even more humbling.

...So. You've all seen these. Some of them are genuine. Lots aren't.

Here's where their message leads:

...Okay. The first warning sign: this account is about 3 days old.

But the second: searching on the details of the plea for help via Google, what do we find but...

...Poor Macaroni has repeatedly been hit by cars, and has repeatedly suffered busted femurs, since 2015.

"This," as the saying goes, "starts to look like carelessness." :/

Taking advantage of the kindness of strangers this way is vile... and plainly there's no shortage of people willing to indulge.

So: yeah, I'll be delighted to help the OP get some more traction on this! You betcha. By:

Blocking. Reporting. Reporting to PayPal as well. And dropping @staff a note, when I have a moment. Because allowing this stuff to prosper here just invites more people to try it on. :/

so the netflix show has already shown us two of dream's other aspects, kai'ckul and the king of cats, but one of my favourite things about the endless in the comics is that they have a different incarnation for every single species and culture that has ever experienced them, in this case, if your people dream, you have a personalised Dream

and the comics are also part of the dcu, which means there are a LOT of other species out there to dream

many of these screenshots were taken from one issue which involves a meeting in dream's head between all of his different incarnations, some are just from other places in the comic, but my personal favourites include:

l'zoril, dream god of the green martians

to fill out the superheroes requirement, kryptonian dream

fish dream

flower dream, and tree dream

femme dream, with just as much dedication to not wearing a shirt as her masculine counterpart

bird dream, insect dream, and robotic insect dream

two different kinds of cat person

these funky lil guys

whatever is going on here with the tentacle robot, the teen titans looking motherfucker, the dragon, and the guy in the witch hat (all equally dream of the endless)

a literal stone statue that speaks mostly in egyptian hieroglyphs

and then there's this guy
