However difficult your situation, the sovereign God is still in control. The devil is not in control; evil people are not in control; GOD IS IN CONTROL!
Have you ever heard the saying, "Have you prayed about it as much as you've talked about it?" It's an easy trap we all fall into. We worry so much that we forget God is the one who knows best. Next time you are overthinking something, tell Him. If it's something you need, you'll get it when the time is right. And if not, He'll give you what you actually need.
Every way of a man is right in his own eyes, but the Lord weighs the heart.
Proverbs 21:2
“When my voice was too choked-up by tears, my heart thanked God with song.”
-Sunday Morning Thoughts
“I never realized what a big deal that was. How amazing it is to find someone who wants to hear about all the things that go on in your head.”
— Nina LaCour
“But one thing I do: Forgetting what is behind and straining toward what is ahead, I press on toward the goal to win the prize for which God has called me heavenward in Christ Jesus.” (Philippians 3:13-14) Focus on Pleasing Christ. As we come to the end of the year, we often look back with regret on things we did not accomplish or resolutions long forgotten or sins committed. But sin is one thing we should never look back on with feelings of failure. If we have confessed our sins and asked God’s forgiveness, God has forgiven and has forgotten it. We only need to focus on the goal of pleasing Christ. Don’t live in regret. God has given you a fresh start. May the Lord guide you always. Ask the Holy Spirit to help you and strengthen you to live such a life.
“Always be joyful. Never stop praying. Be thankful in all circumstances, for this is God’s will for you who belong to Christ Jesus.” 1 Thessalonians 5:16-18 NLT — view on Instagram https://ift.tt/2wfH0rv
