So I’ve been playing this Facebook game called Con Man as if I even needed more reasons to procrastinate, right? Anyway, I started playing it because Nathan Fillion and Alan Tudyk, that’s why. I haven’t even watched the web series, but whatever.

The game is basically about running a convention, right? Imagine my surprise (read: disgust) when one of the perks I got was a staff member who looks remarkably like Joss Whedon.

Let me tell you that I started feeling a bit better when I got to see him walking around in janitor’s clothes and carrying a toilet plunger around.

But now, picture this, one of the tasks that Joss has to do for you is emptying the trash bins. And I’m like, yeah, bitch, clean up my shit. But if he takes too long cockroaches and rats start pouring out of the trash can.

I mean, how much more meta than that can you get?

Joss Whedon - human trash - has to empty trash bins because if Joss Whedon - human cockroach - fails to do so, cockroaches start spilling out of the bins.

It’s like, he’s cleaning himself up but he’s so trashy he can’t ever do it.
