“I’m mindin’ I get distracted sometimes!” He chuckled, watching the girls settle at the end of the bar. Dean placed his hand on his partners chest and ran a hand through his hair. “I think we’ve found our one way ticket outta this bar Jerry my boy.” He stated, as he stepped towards the girls.

“Yeah, ‘n we all know by what.” He teases with a chuckle, looking over towards the dames just at the end of the bar. “That’s my partner, always finding some grade A entertainment.” He hums, following suit as he fixed the bit of hair on his forehead and straightened out his jacket. “Evenin’ ladies. Mighty fine venue here, ain’t it?”

“Why yes, it is.”

Dean turned, following them with his eyes, until he was on the edge of his stool.

“They’d look real good wrapped ‘round you Jer.” He joked, foolishly falling off of his stool for a laugh.

Jerry had his own eyes glued onto the women that sauntered by, though he simply turned his head from shoulder to shoulder to watch.

“You really think so?” He chuckles before erupting into a laugh at his partner’s antic and causing the bar-goers to look towards them.. “I say, old boy, mind your ass.” He chimed, hopping off his seat to help Dean up.

“And you are right my boy!” He said cheerfully, drinking the majority of his drink with a grin on his lips. “Hey look at that!” He said, suddenly excited as he saw two girls walk past them with a swing in their hips.

Jerry always loved whenever Dean approved of whatever he did, the young comedian truly looked up to the crooner like a big brother.

He whistled at the sight, nodding his head. “Those’re some nice dames.” He spoke. “That ones got nice legs”

Camilla couldn’t help the excitement blossoming inside her. She’d never seen her own name in lights before. She just knew that this was the best idea she had ever had. She smiled ear-to-ear at Jerry. Suddenly, she stopped dead and put a hand out. “Hey, Uncle Jerry. Can I ask one last teensy-weensy favor?” She stared up at him, just about as close to serious as she had ever been before.

Jerry beamed, feeling rather excited himself to be doing something like this. Frank Tashlin used to work with tunes and Jerry always loved to hear stories about the process and such; now he’d do it with Cammi. This was gonna be bigger than that time Gene Kelly did those dance sequences in Anchors Aweigh! Jerry titled his head at the hand and smiled, nodding his head. “Sure thing. What’cha want, sweetheart?”

“I was just messin’, loosen up Jerry!” Dean chuckled, patting his friends back gently as he lifted his glass to his lips. “I suppose a few broads for a celebration wont annoy our girls too much huh?” He suggested quirking a brow awaiting his partners answer.

“Hey now, you outta all people should know ‘m loose.” Jerry quipped with a grin, pondering on that a moment. “What they don’t know won’t hurt ‘em.” He replied, smiling a bit at the thought. “I say we deserve a celebration, pal.”

His grin suddenly disappeared and he raised his eyebrows at Jerry’s mention of a lady. “She can keep makin’ eye’s Jer, I’m not that sorta guy anymore, I got kids and responsibilities.” He said rather maturely, which was odd for Dean, until he added with a smirk. “So that’s why I’m gonna drink until there is two of ya.”

Jerry blinked at his partner’s reply, tilting his head curiously as his smile faded some. Aw gee... He hoped he hadn’t insulted Dean just now. They were both family men, sure, but that didn’t mean Jer didn’t like a nice romp now and again. His smile returns and he nudges Dean in the arm. “You had me spooked for a second there, pal. C’mon then! Drink up!”

Dean gently folded a napkin out of boredom as he waited for his drink. “Jerry, can I take the time to remind you we are married men… We gotta keep the girls on the side a secret.” Dean mentioned with a sly grin as he saw an approaching bartender.

Soon enough the bartender came on over and set Dean’s drink down, Jerry keeping his gaze on his partner the whole time. “I know, I know. Patty already gave me the whole spiel. ‘don’t embarrass me, Jerry. You need to remember who ya come home to at night.” He mimicked her with a shrug. “Seems most nights I come home to you though.” He teases, nudging the other in the side. “Which reminds me... Last show we did, there was a dame right in front, the brunette. She was making eyes at ya, pal.”

Jerry beamed at their team name, eyes practically sparkling like a child’s would looking into a toy store window. “The best ring to it.” He corrects, tapping the counter. “Hey, barkeep. Give my partner the best stuff ya got, we’re celebratin’ here.”

Dean nodded slowly and sincerely as he eyed the bartenders movements. “Hey, Jer, what if we did movies too?!” He suggested rather excitedly. “I mean if they like us on TV then why won’t they like us on Silver-Screen?”

Jerry blinked at that and slammed a hand down onto the counter top. Always over the top, as per usual. “Dean! Wouldn’t that be somethin’?!” He bellows, rubbing his hands together in excitement. “I’d love workin’ on the big screen. We’d be workin’ like Abbot and Costello, pal!”

Dean sat himself down and looked at Jerry. “I don’t know, I mean, kinda… But not too much.” He admitted as he turned to face the bar. “What about you?” He asked in return.

Jerry tilted his head and watched Dean, nodding at that before glancing towards the bartender that was now approaching. “I’m jus’ excited. This is what we’ve been workin’ towards, Paul. Nightclubs are fun sure but now we’re gonna be seen everywhere.”

He followed the rhythm that Jerry was walking in, as soon as the bar came into sight his eyes lit up. “Oh boy, it’s like Christmas, just better.” He seemed as if he was joking but he was he wasn’t, at all, when it came to alcohol Dean was always serious.

Jerry quirked a brow at that and looked towards Dean. “Or Hanukkah depending on who ya are.” He chuckles, moving towards the bar stool to settle down and wait for his partner to do the same. “You ain’t nervous about everythin’ are you?”

Dean shrugged off the image of his old beak like nose and how bad it was. “Not too shabby old boy.” He mumbled in a British accent as he held an arm out for Jerry to hook onto.

Jerry smirked to himself, tilting his chin up at the way that his pal spoke. “Why thank you, sir. So glad you like it.” He mimics Dean, hooking his arm right into the crooner’s as he steps forward. “C’mon now, Dean-y boy. Let’s get crackin’ here.” He leads his partner straight to the bar, though he knew he wasn’t gonna be drinking too much alcohol, seeing as it never sat right with him anyways.
