I'm back, again, I mean it this time. I really needed time away tbh, school, work, in the process of trying to move, it's a lot. not to mention health issues, but I love you guys, yk I couldn't stay away too long. I'm going to be taking requests for a bit until I get back into my many, many, many wips. So if you guys want to see anything specific pleaseee help me get my writing brain running again.
I'm finally finally getting this out, and I'm sorry if it isn't up to standard. It's been a rough few months, to be honest, but writing and posting here brings me some joy, so I'm going to try and do it regardless of everything else going on.

It started slow.
Honestly at first you barely noticed, a shirt you'd tossed on the floor vanishing, a pair of shorts you always wore on your period missing from its usual spot, it wasnt enough to set off alarms, just small things. Then your favorite pretty little “fuck me” dress you wore on dates disappeared, panties somehow dematerializing, sleep shirts gone into the void. Not enough to gut your wardrobe but just enough to gnaw at the back of your mind.

sadly this is pretty short but i wanted to put out atleast something, its more of a filler chapter while I try to figure out where we go next, sadly im not one of those organized writers who gets it all together before putting it out, Im the type B who randomly gets an idea during a shift after three back to back all nighters, jots down a few key points and then attempts to flesh it out that night with the company of caffeine

The smell of sweat and iron still clung to my skin when I stepped out of the back, the night air sending a chill down my spine.
I'd taken three fighters back to back tonight. My ribs were going to hate me tomorrow, but the high was still rushing through me like fuel. I was wired, still vibrating with energy as I tapped out a rhythm against the strap of my bag, walking towards my bike.
Natalia was leaning against the tank of my baby as I approached, a pretty smile on her face, that soft girl camouflage she wore so well. She looked like troubles opposite, but I knew better. She'd been made in the same needle ridden trailer park I had. Different battles, same scars.
“Youre a menace” she grinned, handing me a bottle of water.
“You love me for it” I said, twisting the cap off and downing half in one go, my throat burned, but in the best way.
Her eyes flicked over my shoulder, causing me to turn my head, just enough to see him.

Standing against the brick wall by the back door, hoodie up, arms crossed. He didn't move or speak, just stood there like a shadow that refused to return to the dark. His gaze was heavy, tracking me with those analytical eyes like he could read every drop of sweat clinging to my skin.
I took another long sip from the bottle, ignoring the way my pulse kicked. I wasn't about to give him the satisfaction of asking why the hell he was lurking out here.
Nat glanced between us, knowing well enough that something was up, something more than the initial insult and tension. But frankly I didn't know what it was. Her lips quirked up as she pushed off my bike “welp, ill leave you two to.. Whatever this is” she said, waving her hands between us.
‘Thanks Nat’ I thought, fighting the expression of my eyes bugging out of my head as she slipped around the corner.
I wiped the back of my hand across my mouth, fixing him with a glare. “You stalking me now? Or just bored?”
The corner of his mouth twitched like he wanted to laugh at something other than his own ego but couldn't let himself. “Just curious”
“About?”
“You”
I huffed out a laugh, stepping closer to him, making it clear he wasn't intimidating, or even charming. Atleast that's what I told myself.

His eyes dropped to the faint smear of blood drying along my jawline, then flicked back up. “So are you”
For a moment the air felt tight, heavy. My fight high was still thrumming in my veins and the way he looked at me, unreadable, made me want to push. To see which one of us would crack first.
“Good thing I'm not here to play nice then isn't it?” I said, instantly cringing internally at the poor comeback before slinging my leg over my bike and turning the ignition. The roar of the engine split the quiet air, the purr of the engine sidling up in my chest.

Hello, my dears, this is a small update to say I haven't abandoned this blog, things are better but still a bit busy for me right now, as far as my writing and the many wips I have, I am trying to get these out but it's been difficult for me to stay on schedule. On another note, I have been accused of using that godforsaken ai in my work. tears i tell you. this update is a bit dramatic sorry but honestly when it comes to that topic in the world of fan fiction I'm one of the first to say that ai work doesn't belong in here, many of us spend hours and days working on something just to bring joy to ourselves and the rest of the fandom, believe it or not your writing is a work of art and ai has been steadily taking away from artists. I don't know how i would prove to anyone that my writing is in fact MY writing but I would hope that i can be believed when i tell you i spend days on my work, its edited and beta read a million times (and there's still mistakes yay me lol) i write to get away from the real world, i write to expel the feelings i don't want to deal with on a daily basis (exhibit A: the very real feelings and emotional turmoil some of the reader inserts and OCs go through) writing overall helps me get through the things i don't feel like dealing with all the time and the fact that some of you here enjoy my work and enjoy reading it means so much to me and has only encouraged me to better my work, to cut my rambling short if you truly think that my work is ai Im sorry ive given you that impression and you do not have to read my work, for my friends on here that have read my work, stayed up late with me running ideas by each other, corrected my horrible grammar and put up with my tangents on fandoms you arent even in, thank you. as for the people who truly enjoy reading my work you guys mean a lot to me, your comments have given me so much confidence in what I had been scared to share before because I felt like It was inadequate, I always look forward to putting something out just read your feedback and interact with the fandom more. now that ive officially lost the plot of this post, i hope you all are doing well and can be patient with me as i try to finish up atleast some of what ive started

The crowd was already roaring when I came in through the back entrance.
The warehouse air was thick with sweat, smoke and the metallic tang of blood. If I were being entirely honest it was a smell I had begun to love. I passed through it unnoticed, hoodie up, head down. No one suspected I was here as anything but a spectator. Just how I liked it.
Natalia texted about fifteen minutes ago

I didn't reply. I didn't need to, knowing I would be seeing her soon.
Moving through the crowd towards the back corridor to the changing rooms I noticed the much larger turn up tonight, seeing as I didn't know who I was going up against I can't say whether it was for them or not but at least it would probably bring in more bets. The people that arranged these fights and frankly paid my bills, liked to keep us in the dark right up until the event, it kept a cap on throwing rounds.
I peeled my old hoodie off in the locker room, leaving me in my black sports bra and shorts, my fists already wrapped for tonight's fight. There weren't many female fighters in this ring so I just shared a makeshift locker room with the guys, meaning I spent as little time in here as possible. You would think them watching you knock guys around their size or double would deter them from being creeps but alas the male mind.
I didn't need much prep for the fight, just a few warmups with the bag and I was good to go. The crowd and the upcoming promise of fists flying was enough to get my blood pumping and adrenaline flooding my system. It's something I've come to rely on. Whether I get that rush from fast cars, bikes or blood spraying across the mat, I relish in it every time. It had this way of making me feel alive.
By the time I walked back out to the floor, the crowd had doubled. Nat spotted me immediately and raised one perfectly arched brow, the girl always looked like the sweetheart next door compared to the usuals out here. Noah stood next to her, his arms crossed as if he was bored out of his mind and had been dragged here fighting tooth and nail.
Then the announcer's voice cracked over the shitty speakers.
“Next up, we got a crowd favorite! Five times undefeated, you know her, you love her. The Reaper!!”
The roar was deafening and just as I moved to the makeshift I ring I heard Folio shout
“Wait, what?”
I didn't look back, just walked straight to the middle of the ring.

The guy they threw at me first was a tank, thick neck, cocky grin and a broken nose. Didn't matter to me though, I was a firm believer in the bigger they are, the harder they fall.
The bell rang.
I struck first.
A right hook to the jaw, clean, fast. He lost his footing and came back swinging like a pissed off toddler.
I ducked and slid under him, switching from orthodox to southpaw, throwing him off a bit when I went for my next hit.
Crack.
Uppercut straight to the jaw.
The sound was clean, satisfying, it calmed me in a sense most therapists would have me sent away for.
It knocked him off balance just enough for me to use his size to my advantage, straddling his hips as he flipped to try and throw me off of him left me in one of my favorite positions. The one where I had enough leverage to slam his big ass head into the mat.
Blood poured from his nose and mouth, leaving a mess on the stark white of the ‘ring’ as I bashed his head down into it enough to knock him out. It may have been unnecessary but I had an outlet and the more brutality the bigger my check came in.
The next one tried to outlast me, poor bastard. He would back up, bouncing toe to toe trying to bob and weave, cute. It could have worked for him, against anyone else. I'd been fighting bigger and faster since I was fourteen. I let him land a hit to my side, a few soft shots to give him that false sense of hope, then I crowded him, quick enough in my switch from defense to offense that i disoriented him, throwing a kick out to his left side that hit hard enough to have him favoring it leaving me an opening on his right side and at his throat. A left hook to his liver and a jab at his adams apple had him staggering back as I pummeled him, enough so my knuckles had split open and he had a black eye and blood dripping from a cut on his cheek when he went down.
The crowd screamed my name. Blood thirsty fuckers they are tonight.
The third guy was the kind that came in wild, all emotion and zero technique. No discipline.
Those were my favorite.
We played with each other for about ten minutes, both having entirely too much fun with this, bouncing on our toes, taking quick jabs at each other and blocking every advance, before one of us broke.
It was him. No discipline, no patience.
He swung wide aiming for the side of my head but instead the hit grazed across my cheek as I slipped to the left and stepped in close, getting an arm around his neck, driving my knee up into his stomach before hitting between his shoulder blades with a downward elbow strike. Not giving him the chance to recover fully I pivoted and hit him hard across his temple, throwing his head out to the side before he dropped.
I stood over him, my chest heaving, blood dripping down my chin. My knuckles were split and screaming with pain but nothing could compare to the rush, or the crash if I didn't get out of here soon enough to deal with it.
I turned around back toward the crowd and for some reason found myself immediately searching out Noah.
Still as stone, not clapping, not talking. Just watching. It was almost like he was analyzing my every move.
Our eyes met for one split second, I held his stare like a challenge, before smiling with bloody teeth and mouthing ‘Enough damage?’
Then I walked away. I didn't need to say anything else nor hear his response, the blood covering my hands said enough.
