The wonders of language.
Hi :) I recently started learning French but I’m stuck on the prononciation. Any tips? Please and thank you!
Definitely head over to YouTube and watch some natives speak to try and emulate the accent. You don’t have to understand everything, just start getting your ear in! My fav French youtubers are ladoucemelodie, kenza smg and lecoindelodie ✨ I also really like @street_french on instagram for some specific words and pronunciation tips!

Wolof language
Wolof is a Niger-Congo language native to the Wolof people of Senegal. It’s spoken by 5.2 million people and about 40% of the population of Senegal speak it. Wolof is also spoken in Gambia and Mauritania. Unlike most other languages of the Niger-Congo family, Wolof is not a tonal language. The English language is believed to have adopted some Wolof words, such as banana (via Spanish or Portuguese) and yum/yummy, from Wolof nyam “to taste”.

If you’re learning a language and need to polish up on your grammar I would 100% recommend the language gym where you can:
select tenses to be tested on
test your vocabulary knowledge
play games that test these skills
I only use the grammar testing part but as far as I’ve seen its a very useful resource!
move aside duolingo

Free Language Learning Tracker!
Hello everyone! I had been trying to find a way to keep better track of all the areas of my language learning. I feel that I really neglect the writing aspect of it and really need to keep track of that. I decided to make a language learning tracker so that I can see an entire overview of my study habits. This way it will be easy to tell which core areas of my languages I am neglecting.
Here is a quick set up of this printable. Simply add the month it is at the top and give the languages you’re learning a designated color in the key at the bottom.
It will become clear which areas I am not designating enough time to as more areas are filled in. This will make it easier to decide which areas to study on a certain day. I hope this printable will help you on your language journey!
You can download the free printable by clicking here: Language Tracker
Oh I love this so much! That’s a neat idea tbh and way easier than drawing a tracker in my bujo.

New Vocabulary Series
Hi guys, starting this week I’m going to do a series of vocabulary lists on the umbrella topic of international relations. Mini topics will includes names of countries, economics, human rights, terrorism/crime, and many other topics. I’m going to start with one list a week but if anyone wants them more often then let me know but I’m guessing that’s not gonna happen. I’ll be posting these (hopefully) every Monday, so look out for them!
