It's 2005 and I'm 19 years old. Unemployed, failing out of college, no family support... I shaved my head and got a $1,000 speeding ticket I could never afford. Spent 4 days in the ICU recovering from a suicide attempt, then said to myself:

"Well, that was drastic. Let's try going to the other extreme. Let's do whatever it takes to be happy."

Now, I'm 38 years old. Self-employed and successful, own a house, have a loving husband, and I don't even recognize that teenage girl who was so scared to start her life.
